What Makes Me Stronger

Hello Everyone!

As I get older, I look back and ask myself "How did I ever overcome some of the things I have? This is general question that I've asked myself quite a few times. I think at some point everyone has asked themselves that question or something similar. When facing trials and tribulations, it's easy to feel hopeless and discouraged, but it takes strength to and courage to make it through a tough situation.

The fact of knowing that I got through something challenging makes me realize that I'm stronger than I give myself credit. I've also realized that trials and tribulations help prepare me for anything I may face challenging in the future. I felt like this was an important post to write especially with all the things I've been facing recently especially the aftermath of the flood. Sometimes you have to find your inner strength and realize you can overcome obstacles.

What makes you stronger?

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I find that when I'm facing an obstacle I try to remain positive and know things will work out for the best. Great post!

It's very true. For me, I feel like I can get through things with greater ease when I just look to a better future and realize that no bad situation ever has to be permanent. I hope things are better for you now!

I know what you mean Pilar. People nowadays look at what I have and take an attitude. I'm like you have NO IDEA all the stuff I had to go through in the past! It would make you feel differently. I deserve some peace and pleasure in my life now. LOL

You know it's so sad how people can act! That's so true some people will look at things a person has and has no clue of what you had to go through or how much you've prayed to get to where you are in life! You're right, you deserve peace and pleasure in life. I think if we all go through life and never experience any kind of joy, that would make life totally miserable!

I think you're a very strong person Pilar! And I think knowing that struggles won't last forever really helps to see light at the end of tunnels. Finding inner strength can be hard but sometimes that's all we can do in situations!

I think most of us doubt ourself, Pilar and we don't give ourself enough credits but you'll always find strength that yo never know you had when you're face a crisis. In all the bad, you found more of yourself, Pilar. xx

Thanks Ashley! I think you're a very strong person as well! Throughout any bad situation I try my best to push through it. You're right it's hard to find inner strength sometimes, but I keep moving forward!

I couldn't agree more Shireen! When I'm face with a tough situation I sometimes doubt myself and when it's over I'm say to myself "I'm stronger than I realize." I can say that I definitely find more of myself which does make me feel stronger! Good insight!

You are so incredibly strong Pilar and this post is a great one. I have asked myself this many times. Positivity, as others have said, really helps, but also just buckling down and bearing it and knowing it won't last forever.

Thanks Margo! You're a strong person too and I thought that was very inspiring how you shared your depression story and support on Instagram last month! I agree! I think that people should remember no matter bad things don't last always!
