My Life in October 2016

Hello Everyone!

Today I thought that I would share my life in October with some pictures from my Instagram account. As you may know I'm just getting back on blogger after a two month absence, but if you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen these pictures. I wanted to share these pictures with you all on blogger as well :)

Me on then 1st day of October running early morning errands with my mama.

After running errands with my mama, we decided to stop by Krispy Kreme.

Donut Holes!

Crafts, Decor, and DIY

A Little  video I made to bring in October.

I made them candle holder and then mirror box. I will be showing more of my handmade/DIY crafts in an upcoming post.

I started working on this Afghan for the recliner near the end of August and I finished it near the end of October. This is my first crochet project for this year lol. I still can't believe that I haven't made anything since Christmas 2015! I missed crocheting!

This is how the Afghan is being displayed on the recliner. The pillow came from Homegoods

Soon after I finished the Afghan for the recliner, I started working on an Afghan for their sofa chaise. Hopefully I'll finish this crochet project before Thanksgiving.

Miscellaneous

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. A ribbon that I made showing my support in such an important issue.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is another tibbon that I made to show my support. It's so important to do monthly checks and get regular mammograms.

I know this picture looks fairly calm, but this was taken them day before Hurricane Matthew. Thankfully my area wasn't badly affected, but trees were down everywhere and then lights were flickering throughout their day with heavy rain. Being a South Carolina recovering flood victim from last year, heavy rain can make one feel on edge.

A calming bath after the hurricane

A little pink glamour. Versace Bright Crystal and Nicki Minaj 's Pink Friday are two of my favorite perfumes!

Food

Homemade french toast sticks that I made last weekend. I'll have the recipe for this up soon!

I've been on an oatmeal kick lately. Usually I eat Maple and Brown Sugar, but the regular oatmeal has been my go to breakfast.

A dinner that I made during October.  Fried Boneless Pork chops, Aug Gratin Potatoes, and Green Beans

My best friend's birthday was actually near there end of September,  but I gave him this as a gift there early part of October.

I can't forget about the grapes!

Halloween

I took this picture the night before Halloween. I really love these pumpkin since and the lights flash. You probably noticed that in my video I posted earlier in this post.

Another picture of my flashing lights pumpkins

Happy Halloween! I decided to be a kitty

Such a fun and easy kitty look that I created

There you have it, my life in October. I mentioned that I'll be sharing some of my DIY'S and Homemade Recipes with you all. So stay tuned! Now that we're in a new month, Happy November! Thanksfor stopping by my blog

Your kitty costume is so cute, Pilar. I love the pumpkins and candle cozy space. Your afghan is wonderful. It's such a talent when one can knit and crochet. Isn't Krispy Kreme sooooo good? What a great post of this and that in October. These are my favorite posts, so thanks for sharing all the pics. I like that Pink corner too. :)
