Self care is one of the most important things we can do in our lives, so why should skincare be any different? I have to admit that I just started using face masks last year...shocking I know! Today I want to share my thoughts on these 3 face masks from Derma E.

This brightening clay mask helps to reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone and helps to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles.  With skin-brightening properties, this Vitamin C-infused mask leaves you with vibrant, healthy-looking skin.

Key ingredients include clay to help draw out impurities. Also enriched with Tumeric and Kale, both remarkable antioxidants.

My Thoughts

Derma E never dissapoints me with their products for uneven skin tone, and this product is no different. Sometimes I have uneven skintone due to minor breakouts or allergy problems, but this mask helped reduce that without irritation. I used this mask particularly when I noticed a dark spot on my face. I was very impressed that after one use of this mask that my dark spot faded.

This exfoliating clay mask provides a cooling sensation while widely-acclaimed DMAE helps the skin appear visibly firmer, lifted and smooth. The magnetic properties help pull out impurities while making the skin appear plumper.

Key ingredients include clay to help draw out impurities and Adzuki Beans, nature’s favorite exfoliator, to help buff away dull, dry skin, revealing a fresh natural glow. Also enriched with Spearmint for a fresh, cooling sensation.

My Thoughts

I've been really taking extra care of my skin especially during this cold weather and my face doesn't look as dull and skin feels hydrated when I used this firming magnetic clay mask. I'm not a big fan of spearmint scented products, but I would continue to use this mask because of the benefits. I like that this mask doesn't irritate or burn my skin. There's only a cooling sensation.

This dual-action, deep detox mask purges pores of toxins then gently exfoliates for fresh, glowing skin. Great for all skin types, but specifically designed for oily, active or urban skin.

Key ingredients include Activated Charcoal, Apricot Seeds, Marine Algae, and Bladderwrack.

My Thoughts

Charcoal masks are my absolute favorites types of masks to use and this masks leaves my skin looking glowing and makes my skin feel refreshed.  Since my skin tends to get oily during the Summer, I think this mask will help reduce oil. I love that this is a gentle exfoiating mask so it doesn't irritate my skin.

I would like the Firming Clay Mask better if it wasn't spearment scented.

The 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask works so well for fading dark spots. I've only used the mask once, but it really made a difference!

The only mud whatever that I have done was when I was a kid playing in the mud! I might have had a mud mask then! I know I tried eating mud pies!

I have never tried a facial mask but I think I may want to. My skin can be really dry and a facial mask may help with that if nothing else it will get rid of dead skin. Can't wait for your next skin care post.

I didn't start using face masks until last year, and I've noticed postive changes with my skin. I really like these masks because my skin feels so hydrated after usage.
