Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!

I still can't believe it's July! Today's post was spur of the moment, but here's a little recap of my day. Today was a pretty easy day (it's just too hot outside!) My mom loves July 4th, and I spent the day with her.

4th of July selfie

Old Navy Flag Tee

On the menu slow cooker bbq shredded chicken, baked beans, and Lays Lightly Salted Chips

For dessert I made banana pudding

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July!

    1. I haven't made banana pudding in a few months, and thought it would be a good dessert for the holiday! The bbq was so good. Instead of pulled pork my mom made a healthier alternative with the bbq shredded chicken breasts. My mom and I had a nice day! Lisa, I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!

  4. Pilar, So cute as usual. :) I am glad you spent time with your mother. I sure miss my mom, especially at family gathering times. I liked your 4th celebration food. I keep saying we need to simplify ours...too much food and too many desserts. I had forgotten about my daughter's b.pudding...my sis made banana pies too. We had brownies, and strawberry cheesecake too. Plus there was a fluffy whipped cream fruit thing my Angie made. I did not eat any of those. I was a good girl.LOL. Blessings to you honey, xoxo, Susie

    1. Thanks Susie! My mom and I had a nice 4th! I know that you probably have special memories of your mom during the holidays and gatherings! The 4th was pretty simple in terms of food. It sounds like you had fun with family and delicious food. Blessings to you as well!
