Fall Decorate with Me!

Hello Everyone!

I know that Fall has been here for at least 3 weeks now, and I'm just getting around to my Fall Decorations post. Better late than never right? I did get to post my Target Bullseye Playground Haul: Fall Edition and Projects with Pilar: Fall DIY's. You will see various items from those previous posts. For today's post, I wanted to share some of my Fall decorations. Between 2 different hurricane preparations, sinus infections, and life in general, I haven't had much time to fully decorate for Fall. I'm getting there though!

This is a set up in the corner on one of the counters in the kitchen. How perfect does the mug and coffee press match colors! The green is exactly the same! My kitchen isn't very big, but I made this setup work.

Did you today is national dessert day? I decided to celebrate accordingly lol

At the last minute I added magnets on those blue ceramic pumpkins so I could place them on the stove. I'm probably going to add fruit to the basket.

Do you remember I mentioned that I had other magnets in addition to the glitter magnets  that I made? The other magnetic leaves are from Bath & Body Works.

I didn't have this maple leaf vibe I made in my Fall DIY post. I don't think I was finished making the leaf vine by time I posted my Fall DIY's. I really like how the vine looks around the countertop. You can my little pumpkin patch I made using the Bath & Body Works wooden crate.

More decor on the countertop. That ceramic pumpkin with the lid is one of my favorite decorative pieces.

Whether you're close with your relatives or close friends, family is a word that is very important to me. Close bonds are special even if they're non family related. I thought the family sign looks nice under the TV stand in the living room.

I love to add throw pillows to the sofa chaise, and it makes the living room look so cozy.

I used the granny square blanket I made a few years ago again this year for the recliner.

The pumpkins have completely taking over! When I picked up the ceramic snack plates I wanted to use one set as decor and the other set for snacks.

As mentioned earlier in the post, I'm not finished decorating, but here are a few more decorations.

Home, a place of peace and serenity.

Pilar, I love the mix of orange and blue. I also like that green. I like seeing word signs in décor. I can imagine the wonderful fragrance of your pretty candles. I just thought when I was looking before reading...I bet Pilar made those throws. Great job. :) Blessings to you, hope you are completely recovered from the sinus infection. xoxo, Susie

Thanks Susie! I already had blue in the living, but I thought it would look nice mixed with orange. I like the finished result. I made those throws a few years ago! I think I still have a sinus infection or my sinuses are just acting up with the weather changing. Blessings to you as well!

I haven´t really started decorating yet, just a few bits here and there. I will decorate the kitchen countertop though, to prevent me from piling on other stuff there!

Oh I love it all. I love the pumpkins but I do like when it is broke up and other things like the pretty leaves fit right in. My living room is the only room that gets decorated, my house is not an open concept so I just don't move it into the other rooms. Although, the outside gets done! Thank you for the sweet comment on my blog yesterday. And for dessert day, I made cookies, I had a couple, I made applesauce bread and pumpkin bread. I had a taste of the applesauce. I love that stuff.....oh yum!

It's kinda funny because even though my kitchen countertop is decorated I'll still put stuff on there lol!

Pilar, your home looks so cozy and nice all decorated for Fall. I love that sign, cozy blankets. Can I ask where you got that from? I absolutely love the blanket with the Fall colors on your chair. And all your candles add a warm glow to your home. Everything looks really nice. Now you can sit back and relax and have some of those Yummy cookies. ; )

Thanks Pam, and you're welcome! Sending hugs to you, Dakota, and Lily! I've been a little slow to decorate the other rooms for Fall, but they're coming along. I love applesauce, but I never tried applesauce bread. That sounds like it would be delicious!

Thanks Paola!

Thanks Sheri! I made the Thankful and Harvest signs. I did a lot of DIY's this year for Fall. The Family sign came from Target in the Dollar Spot. I decorated for Fall, but I wanted to have some items that could be used year round for decor. Those cookies were so good!

I didn't realize those pumpkins displayed on your stove had magnets on bottom! That's such a cute idea!

Pilar said...

Thanks Marie! I was going to leave pumpkins as they were, but the magnets stabilizes the pumpkins better.

I wanted to put teal pumpkins in the living room to incorporate more blue tones since some of my decor is teal. I didn't see much teal pumpkin decor this year, and I didn't want to DIY it. I love how those navy blue magnetic pumpkins look on the stove! I bet the blanket your grandmother made is pretty!
