Sample This

Hello Everyone!

As a influencer, I can only hope that I provide my followers and friends advice on different aspects in life. I discuss many topics on my blog, but my first love is beauty. I wanted to start a series on my blog called Sample This. I see these types of posts all the time and I thought it would be fun to start a series of my own. This is NOT a PR Sample Post, this most contains regular samples I have in my collection.

Personally I love samples. Samples give you an opportunity to try a product before you commit to buying the full size. Samples are also good for travel, and you can also include samples in makeup goody bags. There have been a few mini size products that I've purchased such as the Dove Moisturizer, but it was only 77 cents at the time of purchase. For the most part, all the other samples were free.

Skincare Samples

In my opinion, foundations and skincare products make the best Samples. I can't tell you how many times I've been at a makeup counter and a representative has tried to sell me a foundation that doesn't meet my skins need or the wrong shade...thats a post for another day... Some makeup and skincare samples usually last for a few days or even a week(s) depending on the size and how much you're using.

Makeup Samples

Did you know that you can ask for samples? There are some beauty advisers that offer you a sample of a product, but most times I notice I have to ask. Did you know you can go into Sephora and come out with a bag of free samples? If you shop online, make sure you look for promo items associated with the product you're buying. You may also find sample options at checkout  online.

Nice samples!

I have a love hate relationship with samples. It is such a great opportunity to trial a product out, especially if you have sensitive skin. But I almost always end up buying the product which leaves me with 20 moisturisers to use hahahaha!

I'm a big fan of samples, too! They saved me from buying a product that wasn't suitable for my skin many many times.

I love samples....gives me the chance to see if I like it before I purchase it. I have purchased things before that I could not use and ended up giving it away. Sometimes I can't use the smell or it messes with my skin. LOVE samples.

Thanks!

Lol! Sometimes I'll have multiple samples of a product so I'll use them until I run out. I've been trying to limit my skincare products. I purchase products from my favorite skincare brands.

Samples can save you so much money, especially if the product isn't beneficial to your skin.

I love samples too!

You have a great selection of samples! I don't have any Drunk Elephant samples, but I do have the cleanser. I really like it. I didn't know Clinique had so many samples!

Thanks! I see why Drunk Elephant is popular. I want to get the jelly cleanser. It works well paired with my Clarisonic! Clinique has great samples too. Sometimes they'll give samples at the Clinique Counter, but you can always ask.

I rarely use the samples I have accumulated, but I agree - skincare and foundation are the best for samples. They give you the opportunity to test before committing, which is incredibly helpful if you really want to be sure before purchasing online.

Next time I go to a Clinique counter, I'm going to ask for a few samples!

Pilar, Samples are just great. It does give a person a chance to try a product without a lot of money....wasted if the product doesn't work for them. I just thought of the tiny lipsticks Avon used to give as samples....and that makes me smile, I loved those . Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I have a bunch of perfume samples that I've given away, but I agree samples are great to try before committing to buying products!

I've seen the mini lipsticks from Avon before! Blessings to you as well!
