Country Road

Hello Everyone!

I'm a city girl. I born in the city, and I've lived in the city all my life. I'm not much of a country girl even though a lot of people think of South Carolina as country living.  I don't visit the country very often, but a few weeks ago my mom was visiting one her friends and I rode along with her.

As I mentioned I don't really like the country, but sometimes it's nice to get away from all the noise and chaos of the city.

A very long road and so much beautiful countryside to see along the way.

I took these pictures on our drive when South Carolina took precautionary measures for Hurricane Dorian earlier this month.

As you can it's very cloudy. It rained a little bit during the drive.

A cute house along the way.  I could see why people want to live in the country.  It's so peaceful and quiet in the country. I just couldn't live in the country due to having horrible allergies, and besides I'm scared of certain wildlife animals etc.

Also, this is my first post for today, don't forget to check out my post, Coffee in the Morning

Beautiful views of countryside. I would love to live in countryside but it seems very hard for me.

Pilar, I'm so glad you got to ride the country roads. There's nothing like them, and I often take those drives in the country as well. I think you should do this as often as you can, and I always tell my son the same thing. The wide open spaces and fresh air and countryside. They are just calling our name, aren't they?

Thanks R! The greenery of country is so beautiful. I'm trying to more nature based things even if I do have allergy and sinus issues lol! Happy Monday!

Thanks Evi! I like the peace and quiet of the country, but I don't think I would enjoy living a country life.

You know that's a good idea Sheri! Yes they are calling my name! The drive did seem long, but I enjoyed it. There wasn't that much traffic like the traffic here in the city.

We did!
