Winter Hair Wash Day Routine: Feat. Curls Blueberry Bliss Collection

Hello Everyone!

* Disclaimer: This posts contains PR Samples from Curls. Thank you Curls for sending these products for review. All opinions are 100% my own. Product and brand information provided by curls.biz

During the Winter, I try to take good care of my hair. My hair is frizzy, so TLC is needed to prevent dryness and breakage during these colder months. Today I'm going to share my current Winter Wash Day Routine feat. Curls Blueberry Bliss Collection. If you haven't checked out my review for this collection, CLICK HERE

Before I start my wash day routine, I gather my essential products for my hair.
- Reparative Hair Wash
- Reparative Hair Mask (see below)
- Reparative Leave In Conditioner
- Control Jelly
- Blueberry & Mint Tea Scalp Treatment

I haven't washed my hair in two weeks. My hair isn't that dirty, but I like to really lather my hair if i skip a week washing my hair. I used a little extra shampoo this time when I washed my hair. I love using this shampoo because the formula doesn't strip or make my hair feel dry.

After I rinse the shampoo out of my hair I use the hair clamps to part my hair into sections and add the hair mask onto my hair. I usually let the hair mask stay on my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes and then I rinse my hair.

While my hair is still damp, I add leave in conditioner. My hair is thick, but this leave in conditioner is very moisturizing so I don't have to add a lot to my hair.

To lock in moisture I oiled my scalp with this blueberry & Mint Tea Scalp Treatment.  This oil is great to use relieve an itchy scalp. This oil also helps prevents my hair from breakage.

To finish my hair I use the control jelly to control my edges and to help give my hair volume. I'm still on a journey to get my hair healthier so I skipped doing a twist or braid out. I went for an afro. I forgot to take a picture,(see last month's photo, my hair looks similar) but I love how voluminous and defined my hair looks!

Curls products are sold online at www.curls.biz and exclusively at Walmart. Also, don't forget to check out my review for this collection, Curls Blueberry Bliss Collection: Grow & Slay The Blueberry Way

Sounds like quite the healthy hair routine. Wow 2 weeks, if I did that my hair would be plastered to my head lol. But it is thin aannnddd frizzy. Lucy me. I can use very little product in my hair almost everything weighs it down.

This sounds like a good product and that it suits you, Pilar. I love conditioners that moisturize the hair also because I have frizzy hair. There is only one that does the trick for me, and I've tried many others. It's called Pantene Repair and Protect. Having curly hair is very different, isn't it? But I bet you get compliments all the time like I used to. : )

Your hair looked beautiful in your last hair post, so I'm sure your hair probably looks great using these products! Blueberry is one of my favorite scents!

This sounds like it's working well for you Pilar. Finding a routine that works is really important especially when you're trying to achieve some specific goals with your hair care.

Pilar, I bet your hair smells heavenly. I wish my hair was thick. It used to be much thicker than it is now. I swear if I were a man , I would probably be bald. I was happy to hear from you on my blog. I have missed so much this past year. I think about you and your mom . Hope you had good holidays . Soon will be spring and oh honey I am ready to sit on the porch and just talk with God. Wishing you the best, xoxo, blessings, Susie

I just started using this brand, and I like the results!

Thanks Allie! I try to wash my hair at least once a week. I tend to use more conditioner than shampoo. I like that there's a jar of the hair mask. Those packets usually aren't enough for my hair.

Having curly hair is different! I have to thoroughly wash my hair because hair curls so much when I wash it! Moisture is a must for me because my hair is so frizzy. I usually get compliments for my hair especially when I do a twist out!

Thanks Marie! Blueberry smells so good!

The Blueberry scent smells amazing! Glad to see you hear from you too Susie! I'm ready for the warmer weather (my allergy and sinuses won't be lol). Talking to God always helps me feel better, gives me hope, and peace. Wishing you and Ted the best and blessings.
