My Thoughts

Honestly I'm so glad I changed my mind about purchasing this palette because I really like the colors. I reach for this palette more than I use my Naked Basics Palette. I had my reservations about buying this palette because I was saying to myself "It looks so similar to the first Naked Basics." Now that I own both, I see they're different. Even though the first edition is great, I find that this one seems more natural which I really like. The colors blend really well and fallout is moderate. I like to keep this palette in my makeup bag especially if I've created a natural makeup look for the day. I don't think it's necessary to have both, unless you're like me and really love Urban Decay Eyeshadows. If I had to choose one it would be the Naked Basics 2.

Do you own the Naked Basics and/or Naked Basics 2 Palette(s)?

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I'm glad you like this Pilar! I haven't used mine in a while and now I want to after seeing your post haha! I do agree this one looks more natural probably because the colors are softer!

Thanks Ashley! To think I was going to skip buying this palette! Like I mentioned I'm so glad I changed my mind! I agree the colors are softer in this palette. I use this one more than I used the original Naked Basics!

From what I have seen, I like the colors in the Naked Basics 2 more than the first one, as well. The colors look great on you!

Thank you Lauren! The colors in this palette are more neutral and softer than the first edition. I like this palette better too!

I've been thinking about a Naked basics and I think this one is prettier in my opinion, or at least has colors I would use more. Looks awesome on you!

Thanks Margo! I feel the colors in this palette are more appealing than the first palette. Both are nice, but I like the Naked Basics 2 Palette better!

Oh I love the Nakeds. I am currently using the original Naked palette, but I so want to get the Naked 2 palette. It is cooler.

I own all the Naked palettes and didn't buy these, because I thought they were a condensed version of the original. LOL Glad you told me they were different! I love neutrals. Looks great on you Pilar!

All the Naked palettes are pretty good! I never can decide which one I like the best. The Naked 2 palette is cooler and the colors are gorgeous for anytime of year, but especially during the colder months!

Thank you Kim! I thought the exact same thing last year before I purchased the first Naked Basics Palette. They're different though which is good because I don't really like buying a constant repeat of eyeshadows lol!
