Inspirational Post Tips for a Happier Morning

Hello Everyone!

I hope all the mothers had a wonderful mothers day yesterday! Today's post is all about happy morning inspiration. I'm definitely not a morning person and if I'm up too early I may go on an unintentional rant about something or another. I guess that comes from the sleepiness. Hey sometimes a girl has to get her thoughts and life together before starting the day lol. Anyways, here are a few tips I use to get my morning off to a happy start.

1. Say a pray and read a scripture from the Bible.

I try to say a pray before I start my day and I also try to read a scripture from Bible. I find this gives me a sense of peace and serenity to prepare for the day ahead.

2. Think positive thoughts

Each day is a new beginning and I look forward to what the day may bring. It's true that you're not going to always have a good day everyday, but I try to keep a positive attitude.

3. Take a shower

I feel so refreshed when I take a shower. Some mornings when I'm extra sleepy, a shower quickly wakes me up.

4. Eat breakfast

I know it sounds cliché, but I agree that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I usually eat something before I start my day. 

5. Sending and receiving a morning text message

Morning text messages are the best! You never know sending a text message can really brighten someones day, just as the same with receiving them. These messages don't have to be long or an everyday thing, but a few kind words can make all the difference. My best friend texted me the other morning he's so awesome!

  1. I've learned not to just jump out of bed right away. I usually read from a devotional of positive messages, like from Joel Osteen. My mom reads scripture every morning.

  2. Whenever I feel a little bleh, I'll always play with makeup for a quick perk-me-up. I know it sounds shallow but even a simple red lips would make me smile again.

    1. I don't think that's shallow at all! I do the same thing sometimes! I find reorganizing my makeup fun lol! Sometimes a great lipstick can quickly improve your mood!

  4. Thank you for this post Pilar! They say that positive thoughts in the morning help make your whole day better. I am seriously not a morning person so I really need to try some of these tips. Half of the time I just want to cry in the morning because I hate waking up and going to work LOL! I really need to start eating a bigger/better breakfast. I'm always in such a rush and don't have much time!

  5. These are such easy and helpful ideas to starting the day off right. Some mornings, I try to journal before I start my day if I have time. It's a great way to write my intentions for the day ahead.

  6. Great ideas Pilar!! I need to add some of those to my daily routine. Things have been crazy around my house so I try and get a snuggle in with my puppy!
