Hello November

Hello Everyone!

In My Come Along with Me Post, I mentioned that lately I've been having Christmas decorations on my mind lol. I can't let Fall my favorite season continue without me dedicating a post.

Fall Themed Granny Crochet Blanket

I showed this in my ready for Fall post, but I just put this blanket on the recliner in the living room. I'll probably leave it up until Thanksgiving or shortly before the Christmas Tree is up.

Fall Themed Door Wreath

These flowers are from last year, but I added flowers to the wreath that were in my mirror box last Fall. The grapevine wreath is new since I used the other one to get started on the Christmas door wreath lol  I'll probably hang this on the front door in the next day or so. I think this wreath will look great for thanksgiving.

Pyrex Glass Pie Plates

I've been picking up a few more pie plates here and there to make food dishes during the colder months. These pie plates are going to come in handy during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Check your local Walmart because I noticed they had a roll back on the price for $3.97 :)

Ceramic Mugs

Well it hasn't been sweater weather the past few days unless its early in the morning or late at night lol,  but I still like this mug. I thought these mugs were so cute in Walmart and they were on sale!

Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! Have you started you menu yet?

* The following was added to this post on Saturday, November 4th...

Better Homes & Gardens Cranberry Mandarin Splash Candle

Omgosh this candle smells so good! A perfect equal blend of cranberry and mandarin! The throw so far is moderate. I think that two of these candles in the living room would probably smell amazing!

Chicken Pot Pie

Obviously my chicken pot pie has become a little popular so I made one for the weekend lol.

  5. Pilar, I really like your blog because it's not just about beauty tips. It's about cozy home decorations and yummy food too. I LOVE that "sweater weather" cup. And I wish I had one of those chicken pot pies for lunch today. Your Fall wreath is very pretty. I know what you mean....I'm starting to get into Christmas decorations too. The crocheted blanket is so cozy, and perfect for this rainy day in California.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Thanks Sheri! When I first started my blog 4 years ago, I wanted to talk about a varitey of topics in addition to beauty. Chicken pot pie is so good especially during a cold day like today! I love Fall, but I've been so distracted by Christmas decorations! The sweater weather is so cute! I had to get it!

  8. LOVE those big mugs. Great for a big cup of coffee or soup! Mine was a Halloween one so now I think I need a winter one! I was thinking the other day taking down Halloween stuff....Christmas decorating is right around the corner. I normally don't do it till Thanksgiving...and I don't do Christmas music till then. I have been watching movies, cause Hallmark has been showing them. I will probably be burned out come Christmas.
