Thanksgiving Makeup

Hello Everyone!

For this year's Thanksgiving Inspired Makeup I wanted to do something different. Usually I stick with cranberry type looks, but this year I wanted to incorporate green.

For my eye makeup look, I started by using Mac's paint for my base and I SHHH in my crease. I really focused on layering colors in my crease. Next I added Potion on top of SHHH and I blended the two colors. Next, I added Trickery in the Tear Duct and on half of my lid. For the other half of my lid and the Outer V, I used Busted.

- Morphe x Jaclyn Hill The Vault Dark Magic Eyeshadow Palette

- Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

- Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly

- CoverGirl Peacock Flare Mascara
  Waterproof in (795) Jet Black

- Urban Decay Naked Cherry 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Black Market

To finish my eye makeup look I created a winged liner, and a smudge brush to intensify the black liner on my waterline

- CoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Powder in Medium Beige

- Covergirl TruBlend Matte Made Liquid Foundation in (T40) Soft Beige

- Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Concealer in Medium

- Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser

- Urban Decay Naked Cherry Highlight
and Blush Palette

- Milani Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose

- Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray

- Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in
  Adorable

My face products are the listed among all the other products used to create this look. Since so created a Smokey eye look, I went for a soft nude liquid lipstick. After finishing my makeup I used Urban Decay's De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray to keep my makeup looking fresh and to reduce the oil on my face.

I may try to get one more post up before Thanksgiving, but If I don't I will resume posting on Friday November 23rd. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. Oh, I love greens in eyemakeup. I rarely wear them, as I don´t think they suit me that good, but on you they are fab!

  4. Hello Pilar! Your make up is so pretty. I'm terrible when it comes to makeup. All I do is the very basic and it takes me no more than five minutes to put it on which is ok with me. I do wish I had your skills though. I want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Blessings to you and your family.

    1. Thanks Marie! I really like this palette so far. The some of the colors are chalky, but they're very pigmented and blendable!

    2. It sounds like a good palette! I was on the fence too, but I might grab one of the palettes!

    3. I really like the Dark Magic Palette so far! Individually these palettes cost $15.00 each. If you get all four palettes, I think the price is $49.00.

  10. This is a beautiful make up look. The green eye-shadow is sometimes forgot in favour of other shades, but I really like this look you put together. You layered the shadows wonderfully. Moreover, I really like the winged eyeliner, I think it always looks so classical and beautiful. Great make up look for sure, perfect for Thanksgiving. Have a great Thanksgiving!
