My Life in February 2019

Hello Everyone!

A brand new month means, brand new opportunities. I wasn't sad to see February depart at all. I'm not trying to be negative but last month was filled with so much drama and stress. Nonetheless I got through it all, and I count my blessings. Today's recap post is somewhat a preview post for some of the things I'll have on blog soon. Also, I want to take a moment and thank you all for your kind words on my last post. It really warms my heart to read all of your encouraging and kind words.

The weather in South Carolina has been all over the place. One day it's hot another day it's cold. February was so rainy. One week it rained all 7 days.

I was having a good makeup day, but the lighting wouldn't let me be great lol

Typically I don't write reviews from a swatch in the store, but I'm making an exception today. I love Morphe, but I don't like the new Fluidity Foundation. I'm glad to see so many different shades, but do people really have grey undertones? I did find my shade, but that's the only positive thing I have to say about this foundation lol.  I feel this foundation needs a lot of work. If you have dry skin I would stay clear of this foundation because it's so drying! My face was moisturized and my skin was dry after testing this foundation. It was hard to blend and my skin was felt like clay. Sorry Morphe, but Fluidity has to be the worst foundation that I've come across.

Shortbread Cookies are my favorite Girl Scout

A few February Favorites. How cute is the Mickey and Minnie Mouse Water Globe?

Sometimes I put my feet on the dash for no reason at all lol. Near the end of last month I almost passed out twice in the ER. Apparently my anxiety reached an all time high and my body reacted negatively.  I felt hot dizzy, and confused since my blood pressure dropped. After resting for the past few days of rest, I'm starting to feel better.

Glad to see a new post from you. My undertones are yellow. I have started going to the tan bed to get a little color on my face. I have now started wearing my summer makeup of just BB cream by Loriel. Nothing fancy or full coverage but I feel like it keeps my tone balanced and gives me a little glow. I love it.
The shortbread cookies are my favorite too and love your chucks!

YIKES on the passing out, ER part of your post. Hoping that is a passing thing with the stress. I for one am also glad that FEB past so fast. This whole yr so far has been the pits. But...I am hoping things are beginning to turn around, needing to get my life on track and I am working on it....slowly but getting there. Hoping that your stress level is leveling out and things get better.

Pilar, I am thankful you are feeling better. That is scary about the passing out. Do be safe. I hate our Feb. like yours, the weather was nuts. I am praying for all of us to have a beautiful calm spring. It sure would be nice. Love the red sneakers. :):) The pink cap is so cute too. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

I'm sorry to hear you've struggled with anxiety and had a stressful February. I'm glad to hear you're resting and feeling better a bit. Sometimes we forget to rest and it's really crucial. There are so many things we can't control in life, it is important we control those we can, and that means taking care of ourselves.

I love your make up look and it's good you're shared it even if you're not happy with the lightning. Shame that the Morphe foundation was too drying. Dry skin and drying foundations are a combo that never works, I have combination so it is hard for me to find a good foundation.

Have a lovely weekend sweetie!

Pilar, I knew we were kindred spirits! The shortbread Girl Scout cookies are my favorite too! Thanks for sharing a honest review of the Morphe foundation. I love getting the scoop so that I don't waste money. Lastly, you look adorable in your pink hat!

Oh Pilar, this pink hat looks so pretty on you. The picture is sweet cause it looks like you don't have much make-up on, but still you look so lovely in this photo. And those red sneakers are too cute. I'm sorry to hear that you felt so bad that you went to the ER. That is scary. Please take care, Pilar. You mean a lot to your blog sisters. : )

ps.....I still have to get some Girl Scout cookies. They usually sell them outside the grocery stores, but have not seen them this year. Shortbread sounds good. : )
