Black and White Photography

Hello Everyone!

Does anyone admire black and white photography? Don't get me wrong I love that we have pictures in color. When I was younger I used to look at old black and white photos. I thought how classy and timeless these types of photos looked. Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite looks that I've created using the classic filter on my phone.

  4. Oh Yes, I do. There's nothing more beautiful to me than a black and white photo, and these are really nice, Pilar. I think my favorite was 'Simplicity' with your Winter hat. I took a black and white photography class many years ago, and Nel was my first photo. To see it being developed right before my eyes was a thrill. Keep taking these black and white photos of yourself. They are awesome.

  9. I will always have a a soft spot for black and white photos since I learned photography via black and white film and it gave me a good foundation for understanding lighting and exposure. It really works well in certain situations.

    1. I've heard many people say that black and white photography helps with understanding lighting and exposure. I've always wanted to take a photography class even before I started blogging.
