Crochet and Makeup

Hello Everyone!

About a week ago, I posted a new crochet hat on my Instagram that I made. I'm not sure why I made myself a hat so late in the season, I guess it's because of all the rainy and cold weather that gave me inspiration. Can you believe I haven't crocheted in over a year?!

Pink is my favorite color, so I made myself a light pink hat

I love to crochet, but making the pom pom is my favorite part. If you're curious I don't use a pom pom maker, I make the pom pom the old fashion way.

As for my eye makeup, I used the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette. Since it's still Winter, I went for a soft sublte look. I also use Pixi Beauty's Bare Brilliance as a gold liner to go on my lids.

I love pairng a nude lipstick with a soft sublte look, so I'm wearing Pixi Matte Beige.

  2. Cute hat Pilar! Pink is your color. I love crocheting ribbed beanies like this and I make the pompoms the old fashion way too. I wrap the yarn around my fingers.

    1. Thanks Lisa! Ribbed beanies are my favorite types of hats to crochet, and were one of my most sold items! I probably will get back into selling crochet items again. That's how I make pom poma too!

  8. Oh, I love your crocheted hat, Pilar, and the color is so soft and pretty. It will be just right for the rainy and cold weather that is still lingering on. It's been raining here lately. The pom pom adds a special touch. I think this is my favorite color you have made so far. You did a nice job. : )

    1. Thanks Sheri! I have another pink hat that I made a few years ago, but it's a little darker than this pink and it has pom poms on the ends of the strings. I enjoyed crocheting during the cold rainy weather.

  9. How lovely you know how to crochet. I haven't learned to crochet yet. I went to one crochet workshop but it wasn't enough for me to learn it, I will need more practice. This pink beanie you made is adorable. You look so pretty and sweet.

    1. Thanks Rowena! I really want to learn how to knit. Crochet is fun, but I want to be able to do both.
