Self Care: Quarantine Makeup Routine

Hello Everyone!

*Disclaimer: This post contains products sponsored by Derma E. Thank you Derma E for sending over products for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own

I know there are people that won't even think about wearing makeup during quarantine, but welcome to the life of a beauty/lifestyle influencer lol. I've lost count on the makeup looks that I've done for my blog and Instagram and I wasn't going anywhere. So I really don't mind creating a makeup look during a stay at home order. For all my makeup lovers, today I'm creating a simple no makeup, makeup look.

To achieve a no makeup makeup look, it's good to have light coverage makeup products.

Last Summer was scorching hot here in South Carolina, and I used Derma E Tinted Moisturizing BB Cream and Derma E Sun Protection Mineral Powder for lightweight coverage. Since it's Spring and it's going to be hot, I thought this would be a good idea to start using these products. These two products are also good to wear when you're doing a quick makeup look.

When I apply the BB Cream I always use a makeup sponge. I started using Derma E's beauty Sponge a few months ago, and it's quickly become one of my favorite beauty tools. This beauty Sponge applies this BB Cream (and foundations) flawlessly, and the sponge doesn't soak up most of the product.

Makeup Products Used

While I was doing my makeup, I unintentionally matched the eyeshadow on my lid to my lipstick lol. I didn't realize that until I was finished.

When creating a no makeup makeup look, you should stick with neutral colors. The Tinted BB Cream from Derma E gives me a natural dewy look. I like to pair the Tinted BB Cream with the Mineral Powder. The Mineral Powder is translucent so I can also wear it alone.

What are your  lightweight go to makeup products to create a no makeup makeup look?

  2. You are always pretty. I wish you could do my make up for me.
I need to do some self care. I cant get me brows waxed so I need to get in there and work on those. Haha.
I also need to work on my nails.
I have only put makeup on to go grocery shopping or in home photo shoots.

    1. Thanks Lisa! I would love to do your makeup! I've been doing self care all this month and it really makes a positive difference. I just started using a new Gelie-Cure Foundation System by Zoya for my nails and my nails look so healthy! I only wear makeup for tutorials now or sometimes a natural look while I'm in the house for photos.

  7. This is a natural look, Pilar. And I love the green color you're wearing - mint green is one of my favorite colors to wear. I haven't been out lately, so no make-up here. It's a refreshing change. : )

  8. I have hardly touched my makeup while in quarantine but I have been all over my facial tools and treatments. I doubt I will be putting on any time soon considering I don't go out w/o a mask now.

    1. I pamper my skin more than I wear makeup in general. I love makeup a lot, but healthy skin is so important! Facial tools have become my holy grails!

  11. A beautiful look for everyday! I tend to only wear mineral makeup and finishing powder so I guess I go for this look all the time.
