Urban Decay Naked Cyber Palette

A few months Urban Decay released their Naked Cyber Palette and the reviews were mixed from what I read and viewed online. 

A.I. – cream satin

META DATA – champagne shimmer

VIRTUAL – peach matte

ELECTRODE – sheer peach shimmer

CYBERSPACE – peach to mint duochrome

GADGET – peachy pink matte

CALL I.T. – sheer pink shimmer

NOT A BOT – warm silver metallic

STATIC – blue iridescent silver glitter

Y3K – brick red to icy blue duochrome

OVERRIDE – sheer red iridescent glitter topper

BYTE – warm red matte

I've been a fan of the Naked Palettes for years, but I feel that Urban Decay is running out of creativity. Some of the Naked Themed Palettes don't make sense to me. It's true there are so many neutrals palettes one can create, but why not just call it something else? What happened to the Vice Palettes? Those palettes were popular and they offered a variety of colors including brighter shimmer shades.  

I like the color range and duochrome theme. I noticed that some shades show more than others as you can see from the swatches on my arm. At least the fallout is minimal. I'm interested to see how this will work when I create eye makeup looks. Stayed tuned for a upcoming makeup look. I paid a few dollars for this palette. I used my points at Sephora along with it being on sale for $24.00, so I scored a major discount. Honestly I don't think this is worth the regular price of $49.00, so if you get this palette I would recommend getting it when it goes on sale.

These pastel colors are so pretty for Spring! I wanted to use Plant One on Me with this manicure, but it came damaged. I put super glue on the top so I could display it with the rest of the polishes.  Plant One on Me is a beautiful pink shade for Spring as well!

I love wearing pastel colors during the Spring, but Bloom Service is a dusty teal that is simply gorgeous!

I decided that I'll probably wear press on nails until the Spring since my nails are always so brittle in the Winter. I usually grow my nails longer in the warmer months when they're healthier and less brittle. You can find these polishes on amazon.com

Hello Everyone!

Happy Valentine's Day! ❤ Since yesteday was Valentine's Day weekend and Superbowl Sunday I decided to make an event of both occasions. 

Truthfully I didn't favor either team this year, but it was a good reason to eat yummy snacks and spend time with my mom. (I enjoyed the half time show though).

I also decided to treat myself this Valentine's Day. Last month I had a few gift cards left over from my birthday and there were a lot of good sales so I took advantage of them. I forgot to show this, but I  was finally able to get my free birthday gift from Sephora (I always get the birthday gift for the upcoming year since they never have the birthday gift for the current year in December).

Omgosh! I just got this beautiful Valentine's Day surprise from my mom delivered to me about 30 minutes ago! My mom is so sweet! Thanks again mama, I love you so much! ❤

I can't remember the last time I had a boyfriend on Valentine's Day it's been a few years lol, but if you read my blog over the years I believe that Valentine's Day should celebrate love in general. So for anyone that feels alone because they're not in a relationship remember to just celebrate love. Remember you are loved!
