It's almost Summer and with that being said, today I'm going to be sharing some information and my thoughts on this moisturizing sunscreen lotion from Palmer's. Even though you should protect your skin all during year against the sun's rays, this especially important during the hotter months.
DESCRIPTION
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Eventone Suncare contains active ingredients and natural moisturizers Cocoa Butter Shea Butter and Coconut Oil to protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun and help you maintain a youthful even skin tone. CocoaPlex Technology helps to prevent dark spots, uneven skin tone and premature aging.
Eventone Suncare Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion provides 80 minute water/sweat resistance and UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum protection while leaving skin with a natural, healthy glow without any white, pasty residue
PABA Free • Paraben Free • Phthalate Free
KEY INGREDIENTS
Cocoa Butter: a natural moisturizer that leaves skin soft and silky, transforming even the roughest, driest areas into buttery soft skin. Rich in Cocoa Mass Polyphenols which help to combat free radical damage- the main culprit of premature aging
Shea Butter: deeply moisturizers and soothes dry skin while acting as a moisture barrier to keep skin hydrated.
Coconut Oil: rich in lauric acid, as well as poly and mono saturated fats to hydrate deeply- giving skin a natural glow while helping to improve absorption and counteracting any white, pasty residue
My Thoughts
The first thing I noticed that this sunscreen lotion feels thick, but applies very smoothly on my skin. I really like how this suncreen doesn't leave any white residue on my skin, it feels like I'm using a regular lotion, just with suncreen added. This sunscreen lotion smells more like cocoa butter than sunscreen and has SPF 30. My skin feels so hydradrated and soft throughout the day. Unless I'm being exposed to sun most of the day, I really don't have to reapply this suncreen lotion. I've tried other suncreen lotions, but this one has to be my favorite! If you're planning a day out in the sun I suggest you pick up this suncreen lotion! This lotion really came in handy this week with it being in the high 90's and even 100 degrees! So you can just imagine the heat index soared past 100°! It's safe to say it's been pretty scorching hot in South Carolina!

This is perfect to use now it contains sunscreen that is a plus and the scent is divine.
ReplyDeleteI agree, and I like that the scent is more coco butter than suncreen!
DeleteThis a great review since Summer is coming! I would like to try this sunscreen lotion and good to know the formula doesn't feel too heavy!
ReplyDeleteThanks! This suncreen lotion applies very smoothly and feels light weight!
DeleteI can't believe it's been in the 100s!! I go crazy when it's 90 here so I can't imagine!! I'm glad to know this smells more like cocoa butter then sunscreen. I really dislike sunscreen smells for some reason so I'm always trying to find one that doesn't smell like it lol!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hot here again this week. The weekend wasn't so hot since the humidity was low, but the humidity is back! I don't like the scent of suncreen either lol, so I'm glad this has more of cocoa butter scent!
DeleteThis heat is no joke! We were under a heat advisory this weekend in Dallas. So hot! I am all about the sunscreen in the summer, but I still need to try the Palmers. I don't like the typical sunscreen smell, so the cocoa butter smell sounds like a nice change.
ReplyDeleteI know! This is the type of heat that makes me want to just stay indoors lol! The cocoa butter is a nice change from the traditional suncreen scent!
DeleteThis heat is crazy! A cocoa butter suncreen lotion sounds interesting!
