Summer Days

Hello Everyone!


Before I start today's post, I want to thank everyone again that left such kind and encouraging words on my last post. I truly appreciate your support!

They're no denying that Summer is in full effect, especially if you live in the South. It's so hot!! Here are a few things that I love during the Summer, and a few decorative pieces etc.


I made this door wreath in May. Who says you can't have lavender as a Summer color?! I decided to keep my popcorn stitch blanket that I used for the Spring draped over the recliner for Summer as well.


No Summer is complete without S'mores! 


Cool and delicious banana pudding 


I picked up these dish towels and dish cloth sets back in April. I thought the colors would like nice for the Summer.


Yellow is my happy color 


Summer Candles  


Golden Pineapple Luau is my favorite Summer Scent! Too bad Bath & Body Works stopped selling this 2 years ago. I think it was for the Hawiian Collection (not exactly sure of the name for the collection)

    I’m just one state over from you so I feel the heat your feeling. Its like we never had spring. Just Winter right into Summer. Yellow is my favorite summer color too. Its just brightens up the place.

      I agree Winter skipped right over to Summer lol! I guess that's no too unusual for weather in the South! I love yellow, I think it's a perfect Summer color!

    Do ou burn many candles in summer? I tend to Forget about them until winter comes again.

      I do burn a lot of candles during the Summer! I burn them year round, but Summer and Winter are my favorite times of year to burn candles!

    Oh Pilar, I've been wanting to make S'mores this summer, they're Yummy. Yellow is such a cheerful color, and I think yellow accents in your kitchen is charming. Those candles look so nice. I can't wait to smell the Fall candles coming out soon. Your door wreath is pretty, and I absolutely LOVE that blanket you made.

    It's been pretty hot here too, with the air conditioner going most of the time. : )

      Thanks Sheri! I love the finish product of the door wreath that I made. I made the blanket last year. I like a few Fall Candles, but I don't have much to choose from since majority of Fall Candles are pumpkin scented. I did a candle exchange and picked up a pumpkin scented candle I liked.

      The air stays on in my house since it's so hot outside!

    I love that like me, you love to shop! Great buys. Yellow is awesome however I only have one yellow room, downstairs bathroom. It is actually yellow with a border around the center of the wall with light houses. Navy, red and yellow. I decorated with the navy. But since I did that room in 05, it might be time to redo it! haha....

      I love to shop, but I love a good sale too! I thought about a yellow theme in my bathroom. Yellow is such a beautiful color! If you feel the room I hope you take pics! The pics you show on your blog, redo furniture etc, so nicely!
