Summer Brightness

Hello Everyone!


Isn't it kinda hard to believe that Summer is almost over? The days sometimes feel like they're running into each other due to quarantine, but seriously Summer is going by fast.


I haven't been creating a lot of makeup looks during my break, but I did come up with this one. The weather has been so rainy and stormy in South Carolina the past few weeks. I wanted to add a little bright color to these gloomy weather days. Side Note: I used my James Charles Palette for this look.


Pink and Purple can brighten any look right? I paired my eye look with outlined lip with a nude lipstick (MAC Blankety) Lash Freak Mascara from Urban Decay has been one of my recent favorite mascaras. I love the way the mascara makes my natural long lashes look.


To continue with a pop of color on my cheeks, I added a orange blush from Milani. I'm not fully back on the blog yet, but I will have new content up soon!

    Yes, Summer is going by fast. I just visited a college and noticed leaves changing color already. Your Summer look is sweet, Pilar. I can't believe you've had rainy stormy weather lately. When Nel lived in Georgia, she said it rained every day for a short time during the Summer months. You really know how to apply your make-up, Pilar. It looks nice.

      Thanks Sheri! I live in South Carolina, so I know what Nel means about the rain here in the Summer. It's been unusually rainy though. It will either rain during the afternoon or overnight. Sometimes the rain is peaceful. Lately I've doing makeup for social media since I'm in the house and it's too hot and humid outside lol!

    Ah yes bright colors can be so fun!! I have so been wanting to do new things with my makeup. I am so bored with what I do on the daily. You look great in these colors!

    Summer when kind of slow for me. Non stop humidity and could not get out as much or the beach as much so it just kin of dragged on...

      Thanks Allie! Spring and Summer are perfect seasons to create colorful makeup looks! I wanted to go to beach here, but it's a hotspot for covid. Maybe next year.
