Bath & Body Works Pre Candle Day/Weekend Haul

 Hello Everyone!

Since the pandemic started, a lot of businesses have taken different measures to ensure the safety of their customers. Bath and Body Works decided to have a Candle Weekend instead of their traditional Candle Day. If you check Bath & Body Works website there is a store locator for times opening in your area. I think you will be able to shop online as well (or at least one day online...don't quote me, as I'm not totally sure). I will update if I find out more details.

I did a few exchanges before the upcoming candle weekend, so I technically didn't buy anything lol. Despite the safety precautions I try to avoid large crowds especially since Covid is on the rise again in South Carolina.  Honestly I don't understand why Bath & Body Works doesn't have an annual candle weekend to give people a chance to shop more than one day.

2020 Holiday Christmas Bath & Body Works Bag

These are the candles I chose during my exchange. Most of the candles are my holiday favorites that I usually burn during the holidays and Winter. Tis the Season is one of my new favorite scents. The candle name says it all, Tis the Season. This candle reminds me of all things Christmas. It's a warm cozy cinnamon, apple, and slight wood scent. I love it! Snowflakes & Citrus is also another scent I love. This candle has a frosted citrus scent that's perfect for Winter.

What are your favorite Holiday/Winter Candles?

  2. Oh, I noticed you had a candle post, and had to come right over. You know how much I love candles. Tis the Season sounds perfect, and I love cinnamon and apple scents. The Snow candle looks delightful too. I always appreciate your candle posts, Pilar. I need a new lighter and don't know where to get one, any suggestions?

    1. I'm surprised I haven't burned tis the season before. I think that candle has been around for a few years, but I'm not sure. I'm glad you find my candle posts helpful! Have you tried Walmart, Target, Lowes etc for the BIC two pack long neck lighters? Those work well and last long.

  6. Nice selections in your candle haul! I know that Candle Day starts today. I think today is the only day for candles online. Is it just me the candles a little higher this time around?

    1. Thanks! I heard candle day was a complete mess online, and the site was crashing. The candles are higher. $9.95 isn't a very good sale in my opinion. I notice the price goes up every year, and you couldn't even use a coupon code online except for the one to purchase the candles.

    2. I was very underwhelmed with this sale. I don't get many coupons, but I felt the candles should've been less than $9.95. I heard about the site crashing. I just sat this one out lol

    3. I don't get coupons either. I know it's been well over a year since I received a mailer from Bath & Body Works. I did a few candles exchanges before candle day and left it at that lol.

  7. Pilar, I love your candles. You are going to have a lovely smelling home. The way you described "Tis The Season" sounds like one scent I would love. I used to buy candles from a friend of my daughters at a street fair...it was called ,"Cabin In The Woods" It had a cinnamon, apple scent . Hope you are doing well. Ted and I are staying in and not getting around anyone. But those hospital and dr visits are scaring me at times.. Blessings to you sweet friend, stay safe. xoxo, Susie
