Did you know that August 31st is National South Carolina Day? I've known this for a few years, and today I wanted to focus on celebrating my home state with a few personal pictures that I've taken and shared here on my blog.

When it does snow it's beautiful, and I'm usually ready for it to be over lol
South Carolina has beautiful weather. Sure it can be pretty hot and humid, but the sunshine and clouds are amazing here.

Happy day to you, Pilar. That's wonderful that you have a South Carolina Day! I sure wish we had a Northern California day haha. The two parts of our state are different, especially when you get that far up north. But there's good things about them both. Your photos are lovely, and the snow picture made my heart sing. I always love to see Lake Murray too, and glad you spend time there when you can.

Thanks Sheri! I've always heard that Northern and Southern California were very different. I can imagine so with California being such a large state. It's kinda funny how so many people loved looking at the snow fall, and so many people were ready to see it melt lol! The snow was still beautiful though! Wishing you beautiful September days as well my friend!

DeleteNo, I didn't know August 31ST was National South Carolina Day, very cool!! I didn't know it can snow there, but it can in Florida so it makes sense. Ugh yes hot and humid so is NY LOL. So over it. Looking forward to it getting cold.

Sometimes it snows in South Carolina, but it's rare. It's still pretty hot and humid here, but I hope it cools down soon lol!
