Hello April

Hello Everyone!


I hope that everyone is doing well and your month is off to a good start. Spring is here and the weather has been beautiful the past few days. Like most people, I've been spending much of my time inside. Here are some of things that I've been up to lately.


I've had this Easter Display out since March 1st, don't judge me lol


Since food and supplies are still scarce in the grocery store, I'm glad I was able to get more water, a 12 pack of toilet paper, and long lost apple sauce lol 🙂


Allergy and sinus season is here (even though I have allergy and sinus problems all throughout the year). I've been taking the Nature's Bounty Sleep Vitamins


Last month before Ulta temporarily closed their stores, I purchased this 35H Hot Spot Palette for $15.00. I actually paid about $12 and some change since I used coupon


Laundry Day


I just put the Yankee Candle owl wax warmers away, and took out my other wax warmers. I purchased these and while ago when they were on a BOGO Sale. I've said this before, if you don't like Yankee Candles try the wax warmers and wax melt cups. The throw on the wax cups melts are better than the candles.

I'm not sure of what happened yesterday morning, but I think I sprained my knee. Right now I'm in a lot of pain, but my knee doesn't hurt as much as it did yesterday. Let's just say I'll probably be resting for the weekend.  Be well and stay safe!

    Those Easter bunnies are too cute, Pilar. Love them. I'm glad you got a pack of TP. I just got a pack of 24 at Target and am good for now. I tell you, Target is the best, isn't it? But had to stand in line for awhile in the shivering cold. I'm so sorry you sprained your knee. Hope you feel better, and rest this weekend. Your blue blanket is so nice. I always love to see the blankets and hats you are working on. Such a talent you have.

      Thank Sheri! My knee is feeling better. Target is the best :) I miss going there lol. I'm glad you were able to get a pack of TP. I'm sorry you had to stand in line so long while being cold. I made this blanket a few years ago, but I would like to make another granny square blanket!

    I love wax melts more than candles. Glad your stocked up. We too are stocked with paper products and meds but we seem to have to run out to the grocery store each week for fresh food.
    So sorry to hear about your knee. Keep it rested and hope you feel better soon.

      Thanks Lisa! I've been using wax melts a lot lately instead of candles. I still love candles though lol. We try to go every two weeks for food, but sometimes we end up going every week depending on the availability of food and paper products.

    I hope your knee gets better. I think there is a kind of bandage that can be bought in pharmacies and that helps in this kind of situations, when you sprain an ankle or a knee...but resting is definitely the right thing to do.
    Your Easter decoration is lovely.

      Thanks Ivana! I know what your talking about. I had one of those bandages and a knee brace, but I have misplaced them. I haven't used them in a long time, so I guess that why they became misplaced. Resting my knee has helped.

    I hope you feel better Pilar! Those ceramic bunnies are precious paired togehter with the glitter eggs. I hope I can catch a bogo sale on the warmers!

    Good that you were able to get toilet paper. Sorry to hear about your knee Pilar! Take care and rest it. Ice and elevation can really help as well.
