Do you remember at the beginning of the month I wrote a review for Regular Girl? I've been using this for about a month and I have noticed positive results. I haven't experienced too many bloating issues. I mentioned this in my review, Regularity hasn't been too much of an issue throughout my life, but I do like the idea of a prebiotic fiber and probiotics to maintain regularity and a healthy digestive balance.

Projects with Pilar: Popcorn Stitch and Infinity Scarves

Hello Everyone!

It's a little funny that I'm discussing more of my handmade scarves today and it's currently 80° outside lol. I finsihed these two scarves last week. I'm unsure if I'm going to sell these or keep them for myself.  I think I'm going to take a month long crocheting break since I've been crocheting non stop since November.  I have a few crochet projects I want to work on for the Spring.

 Popcorn Stitch Scarf

I was inspired to make this popcorn scarf from my last project. Since I doubled the skeins of yarn, this scarf will keep me (or someone else if it sell it) warm during frigid weather.

Lovely light blue color

Tri Color Infinity Scarf

I made this after finished my last project. I wanted to incorporate pink into another scarf.

I really like making infinity scarves, and these types of crochet scarves are warm as well.

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to share a few everyday makeup looks that I've created using my UD Ultimate Naked Basics Palette.

I love the packaging on this palette, but I was a little surprised the case wasn't tin like some of the Naked Palettes.

Just like the other Naked Basics these shades are matte

I'm so happy that UD put a brush and a large mirror in this palette.

I think Urban Decay did an amazing job with the color selection for this palette, especially with transition shades.  The shades are pigmented (my apologies for not including swatches) and there's minimal fallout.

This is one of my go to makeup looks

I love how I can create simple everyday looks with this palette.

Valentine's Day Inspired Look from last week

I went for a smokey eye for this look. This palette has basics shades, but the shades can create a nice subtle smokey eye.

Pre Spring Makeup

Hello Everyone!

I know it's still Winter, but the past two days the weather has been warm. I'm actually looking forward to Spring. I really don't like cold weather all that much, so I plan to embrace the warmer weather. Earlier this week I created a look I think will be great to wear during Spring and even Summer.

Makeup Products Used

I love using my UD Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette. The cool tones were great for creating this eye makeup look. I used the gold shade in my Carli Bybel Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette.

A few weeks ago I picked up both of Nicki Minaj MAC Lipsticks that were on sale. For this look I used The Pink Print. Have a great weekend!

Projects with Pilar: Popcorn Stitch Scarf

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to share a crocheting project that I finished about a month ago. I mentioned that custom crochet orders have been keeping me pretty busy, but I did get time to finish a project for myself last month :) This scarf would be perfect for Valentine's Day!

I love using some of my Victoria's Secret Totes to store some of my crocheting items. I'll probably wear this scarf in the Fall or next Winter since I don't think it's going to be extremely cold for the rest of the season. This is a pretty thick scarf!

This is one of my favorite scarves that I made for myself. I really love the colors and the popcorn stitch pattern. I've had a few customers that wanted to buy this scarf, but I made this just for me :) Happy Crocheting!

Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes

Hello Everyone!

* Disclaimer: This post contains PR Samples provided by Derma E for review purposes. I would like to thank Derma E for sending these products. All opinions are 100% my own.

For today's post, I'm going to share my thoughts on these Hydrating Facial Wipes from Derma E.

* Product information is courtesy of Dermae.com

Quickly and conveniently lift away makeup, oil and impurities while thoroughly hydrating, softening and smoothing skin with Hydrating Facial Wipes. Each freshly scented pre-moistened wipe is infused with ultra-moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid that helps condition, soften and smooth skin, leaving it fresh and dewy. Fortified with superfruit extracts Grape Seed and Maqui Berry, these easy, one-step wipes offer antioxidant protection while keeping skin clean and refreshed. Plus, each wipe is 100% compostable and all outer packaging is 100% recyclable. Hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested and sensitivity tested.

My Thoughts

I'm going to get straight to the point. These wipes are amazing and they smell great (in my opinion the wipes have a light cucumber melon type of scent).  I created a few makeup looks last weekend and I used these wipes to remove my makeup before I washed and cleansed my face. Overall I was able to remove my makeup with these wipes. I noticed removing my eye makeup was easier than to remove my face makeup. It took 2 wipes to remove my face makeup whereas it only took 1 wipe to remove my eye makeup.

These wipes are also good use to reduce excessive oil on my face. I like to use these wipes before I use my Derma E Hydrating Cleanser and Hydrating Night Cream.  My skin feels fresh, and soft. Since the weather is still rather cold, these wipes helps with keeping my face hydrated especially throughout the day!

Derma E Clay Masks

Hello Everyone!

Self care is one of the most important things we can do in our lives, so why should skincare be any different? I have to admit that I just started using face masks last year...shocking I know! Today I want to share my thoughts on these 3 face masks from Derma E.

This brightening clay mask helps to reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone and helps to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles.  With skin-brightening properties, this Vitamin C-infused mask leaves you with vibrant, healthy-looking skin.

Key ingredients include clay to help draw out impurities. Also enriched with Tumeric and Kale, both remarkable antioxidants.

My Thoughts

Derma E never dissapoints me with their products for uneven skin tone, and this product is no different. Sometimes I have uneven skintone due to minor breakouts or allergy problems, but this mask helped reduce that without irritation. I used this mask particularly when I noticed a dark spot on my face. I was very impressed that after one use of this mask that my dark spot faded.

This exfoliating clay mask provides a cooling sensation while widely-acclaimed DMAE helps the skin appear visibly firmer, lifted and smooth. The magnetic properties help pull out impurities while making the skin appear plumper.

Key ingredients include clay to help draw out impurities and Adzuki Beans, nature’s favorite exfoliator, to help buff away dull, dry skin, revealing a fresh natural glow. Also enriched with Spearmint for a fresh, cooling sensation.

My Thoughts

I've been really taking extra care of my skin especially during this cold weather and my face doesn't look as dull and skin feels hydrated when I used this firming magnetic clay mask. I'm not a big fan of spearmint scented products, but I would continue to use this mask because of the benefits. I like that this mask doesn't irritate or burn my skin. There's only a cooling sensation.

This dual-action, deep detox mask purges pores of toxins then gently exfoliates for fresh, glowing skin. Great for all skin types, but specifically designed for oily, active or urban skin.

Key ingredients include Activated Charcoal, Apricot Seeds, Marine Algae, and Bladderwrack.

My Thoughts

Charcoal masks are my absolute favorites types of masks to use and this masks leaves my skin looking glowing and makes my skin feel refreshed.  Since my skin tends to get oily during the Summer, I think this mask will help reduce oil. I love that this is a gentle exfoiating mask so it doesn't irritate my skin.
