Summer Glam Makeup Feat. Tigi Cosmetics

Hello Everyone!

For today's post I wanted to create a Summer Glam makeup look. I know it's still technically Spring, but with Summer right around the corner I wanted to get started on a few Summer Makeup Looks. One could say this could be a Fourth of July Makeup Look if you want to add a little glam. For this makeup look I'll be incorporating a few makeup products from TIGI Cosmetics.

All Products Used

To prep my lids, I used Tigi Cosmetics Liquid Enhancer to wet my brush. I wanted to all the colors in Tigi Cosmetics High Density Quad Eyeshadow (Smoky Hot) the white shade is the perfect balance to this Smokey eye. I love how intense the colors look on my lids. 

Before I set my foundation, powder, and highlighter I used Tigi Cosmetics High Definition Setting Powder  (Translucent) I love this setting powder, it applies so smoothly and it doesn't make my makeup look cakey or chalky. 

For my lips I used Tigi Cosmetics Perfect Lip Liner in Kiss and Tigi Cosmetics Diamond Lipstick in Astonish.  The darker red lip liner paired with the lighter red lipstick finished this glam makeup look.

Derma E recently sent over a few face products and today I wanted to share my thoughts on the skincare items. I usually change some of the products in my skincare routine during each season. I love using good exfoliating scrubs and masks especially during the warm months.

Derma E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub

My Thoughts

This scrub is gentle, but very effective for my skin feeling so soft! I love that this scrub helps reduce oil. Since I have combination skin, I tend to have more oily skin during the Summer. I also noticed that my skin looks more blemish free when I use this scrub. I think this is going to be a holy grail product for me.

Derma E Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask

My Thoughts

I was interested in how this mask would work for my skin since I really love the individual pack of Derma E Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask and I have the same thoughts for this mask as well. Charcoal masks are my absolute favorites types of masks to use and this masks leaves my skin looking glowing and makes my skin feel refreshed.  As I mentioned in my scrub review, my skin tends to get oily during the Summer. I'm thinking this mask will help reduce oil as well. I love that this is a gentle exfoiating mask so it doesn't irritate my skin. I like using sheet masks, but I love that this mask is available in a tube.

Hello Everyone!

BH Cosmetics released the Weekend Festival Palette about two months ago and I had to have it in my collection. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and very pigmented! You probably won't be seeing me at any outdoor festivals since it's extremely hot in South Carolina during the Summer, but that doesn' mean I can't create a makeup for the occasion right lol?! Side note I made the flower crown specifically for this palette.

Products Used

I used NYX Eyeshadow base in White to prep my lids.

I really wanted this makeup to be colorful so I used Swag in the tear duct and Ripple on the lid. I blended the two colors into each other.

For the outer v, and in the crease I wanted to use a bold color, so I went with Trance. To balance out the colors I went for a soft nude lip.

I don't have anything negative to say about this palette that' much I love it! The quality is amazing (with a small amount of fallout), and the colors last majority of the day. As you see from my swatches the colors are highly pigmented. I took the picture of the swatches with the flash on my camera to show the true color of each eyeshadow. I used a white primer on my lids and it made the colors that more intense. Since this was a festival inspired color, I went for a bright colorful look. The colors applied and blended so well as I created this look.

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another monthly lifestyle! I wanted to get more posts up this month, but life happens. Between being busy and dealing with continuous allergy issues before I knew the end of the month was here! Well praying for June to be different (not that May was terrible). My long overdue makeup haul is coming (see my Instagram for a few sneak peaks). I'm actually working on that and other upcoming posts. Well enough of rambling and let's get started with today's post!

I was told my glazed donuts were hot. Obviously they were NOT hot (or the other two donuts)

I haven't had Fazoli's until recently. The baked spaghetti I had was pretty good. I typically like to cook my own food, but this month I ate out a little more since I haven't been feeling well from allergies.

This dish is similar to the baked italian chicken dish that I make. This dish is italian baked boneless pork chops, broccoli au gratin rice and peas.

OUCH!! This is how I started off the first day of May.  I hurt my hand and my wrist so I had to wear (and still wear from to time) a brace.
