My Thoughts
If you're new to Tarte, you may not have heard about the controversy when this foundation first launched. Customers were upset there was a limited shade range unlike the popular Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. Tarte rereleased this foundation in 50 shades. I like that this is a vegan matte foundation; however, you may want to use a good moisturizer when priming your face if you have dry skin. I've worn this foundation 3 times so far for about 9 to 10 hours, and I must say the claims are true. This foundation does have impressive staying power. I wanted to test the claims even further with the hot and humid weather here. My foundation didn't budge. I'm so glad this is a sweat proof and waterproof foundation. I noticed a floral type scent, but thankfully the scent does fade.The foundation claims its lightweight, but I found it more on the thicker side. A little foundation goes a long way. Since this is a full coverage foundation, I'll will be wearing this foundation during the Winter.

My Thoughts
Two words...Holy Grail! I'm highly impressed by the shape Tape Concealer. In a nutshell yes this Concealer is worth the hype and the money! I was unsure of which shade I wanted to try, so I took my mom along with me. She actually matched me better than I did. Funny story my mom didn't realize this was a Concealer at first so she was applying it all over my face Haha! Then she was said "if this Concealer is this amazing and flawless I can only hope the foundation is just as great. The concealer was in the wrong area. My mom was saying why are they making foundations so small now lol.
I wore this Concealer during one of my busy MUA Clients days so that was about 8 hours. I didn't notice any creasing and the wear time was good as well.

I tend to prefer fuller coverage in winter too. I have tried neither of them, I am so happy with the NARS Concealer I really don’t need another one.
Ive never heard of this until a couple weeks ago my daughter was asking for some. I had no clue it was make up. I thought “face tape” was some kind of wrinkle prevention. So Duh me.

I had to cancel Tarte Cosmetics after they thought it was cool to post a racist meme a few years ago. I will never use any of their products again.

The humidity here is horrible so I'm wearing this foundation in the Winter! I like wearing full coverage foundations when the weather is colder. I want to add Nars on my list of concealers to try.

I like the coverage and the shade range, but I'll wear the foundation when it's cooler. I love the concealer!
The foundation feels a little thick to me, so it's not something I would want to wear during the Summer. The concealer is one of the best I've used this year!

I just started using their products last year, but I never heard about this until now. I actually just looked it up what was said. Oh wow that was offensive, and the statement cause a lot of fans to be offended and upset. I saw Tarte issued an apology, but sadly the damage was already done. People need to be more mindful of the things they say and do.
The concealer is good.
