Crochet Pot Holders and Dish Towel/ Red Heart Heads Up Yarn Review

Hello Everyone!

Disclaimer:
My apologies for the missing pictures. My pictures were accidentally deleted off my blog. Please Refer to my Instagram account miss_pilar to view the pictures (or some of the pictures) that were deleted.

Disclaimer: The only yarn mentioned in this post that was sent to me is the Red Heart Heads Up Yarn. Everything else was purchased and made by me.

I've been working on a few crocheting projects lately. I figured now would be a good time to incorporate the yarn I was sent from Red Heart Yarn (See First Impressions Post)

Red Heart Heads Up Yarn (Grape) 3.5 oz

I really liked using this yarn. It's a little thicker than the Super Saver Yarn, but it's so soft. This yarn is 80% acrylic and 20% wool blend. I found crocheting with this yarn simple and it doesn't tangle like some other yarns from Red Heart. The quantity is only 3.5 which isn't a whole lot, but it works great for small projects such as the kitchen items I worked on. As the name states "Heads Up" this yarn is great for making crochet and knit hats. I would suggest buying another skein of yarn since the contents only has a small amount. A hat pattern is also included inside the wrapper. Even though the recommended hook size is "K" I used a smaller "H" hook and I didn't experience any issues. I would purchase this yarn in the future because I enjoyed using it and the quality is very good!

Check out www.redheart.com for more information on this yarn and other yarns!
