Hello Everyone!
During the month of February I want to focus on all things good and love. In order to show love to others you must first show love to yourself.
During last month and part of this month I decided to take a few work selfies. Even on days I don't feel so great physically or emotionally I get myself ready. You don't have to look like you feel. Besides getting yourself ready in the morning can be a great mood and self esteem booster.

I still wear my mask incase anyone was wondering.
January wasn't nothing short of cold frigid days and nights. We had even snow in South Carolina!
Fresh Box Braids
No heaters allowed, so my regular blanket makes daily appearances.
Last month I wore mostly boots, leggings, sweaters, and long cardigans to work. It was too cold for anything else lol. On this particular Monday I received so many compliments on my outfit (its a khaki pants jumper paired with a black long shirt)

You may have noticed my necklaces, the necklace with the blue zircon pendant is special to me. My mama gave me that a birthday gift years ago.

I agree with you, even those days you don't feel your best, you show up for yourself. I recently started taking more pictures at work and I wondered why I didn't start early.

Self love is so important so good on you for choosing to prioritize it Pilar! So glad to see you still wearing your mask especially after what you went through with sepsis last year. We all need to stay healthy with a quademic still out there.

Cute selfies, Pilar. You've always take such good ones. That necklace is so special that your mom gave you. I think my favorite was the purple sweater dress. I am drawn to purple always haha.

My work space gets cold. We are not suppose to have heaters but I have one hidden under my desk I will use sometimes. Im not the only one that does this. Lol.
