I really like this chemise. It feels so light and it's very girly and lacy. This is great chemise to wear during the Spring and Summer.

I absolutely love this chemise! I can either wear this to bed or as a cute tunic. Depending on the size you get, this chemise is curve hugging. Even though this chemise is curve hugging, it's a stretchy cotton material that is very comfy

3. Unknown Name: Sheer Baby Doll?: Price Unknown

I don't know the name of this exact baby doll because I didn't see it on the site anymore. This sexy baby doll is made of sheer, but a cute bra and panty set underneath would go great this baby doll if your looking for more coverage. The bow in the front adds to femininity of this baby doll.  The only thing is that this baby doll wasn't all that DD friendly to me. It's a snug fit in the bust area.

My Thoughts

I really like all the lingerie samples that were sent to me. My favorite is the grey chemise. I think it's so cute and it's very comfy like I stated earlier. Some of the prices may be on the costly side if your depending on what you want to spend. I think that the quality of the products are worth the money based on the samples that I received. All three lingerie items are on the short side which I don't really mind. I mean it is lingerie! You could always pair the first two chemises with shorts or leggings etc. As for the baby doll I can only speak for myself, but once again  this wasn't very bust friendly. Based on the samples I would definitely look on the site for more products. I also like how the site also caters to women who are on the smaller plus side (such as myself) versus than some stores that cater to larger plus size women. From what I can tell the site caters to all size plus size and /or curvy women. Even though the site is geared for plus size women, but as the site states you can always check it out especially if you have a curvy shape.

Holiday Makeup Looks 2015 Collaboration

My friend Ashley and I thought it would be fun to collaborate on a few holdiay themed posts. So today we're both sharing our holiday makeup looks we created. We both decided to create The Classic Gold  and Red Lips look and we created an individual look for the second makeup look. Uses for Rose Hip Oil/ La Bella Rose Hip Oil Review

I was recently contacted by La Bella to review a few products and one of the products included this Rose Hip Oil. I've never used rose hip oil until now, but I have heard many positive reviews about the benefits of using this oil. For today's post I'm going to share a few uses for rose hip oil. Since I was unfamiliar with rose hip oil in general, I researched a few sites that provided information about the product. My Thoughts

I thought using this oil for nails would be a good idea since I'm trying to grow my nails long again. I used this oil for the recommended week and I have noticed that my nails are less brittle and I can tell my nails are getting stronger. I've been massaging this oil onto my nails with a q-tip at night. If you're trying to strengthen your nails, I suggest giving this oil a try especially since its getting colder outside to keep them strong and healthy.

A healthy skincare routine is very important to me. Since I'm a fan of oil for keeping my skin moisturized and healthy I decided to give this a try. I did as instructed on the website and my skin felt so hydrated! I've also read that Rose Hip Oil was good for Eczema. I decided to use the oil on my elbows since those are the only trouble spots I have at times with Eczema. I noticed that this oil gave my skin a healthy glow after usage. My skin wasn't greasy after I used this on my skin and the oil didn't take very long to absorb on my skin. This is also a less is more type product since it's oil. A little goes a long way.

La Bella Rose Hip Oil has a light floral/fresh scent that isn't too overpowering. I don't really mind the scent which surprised me since I'm not really a fan of floral scents, but I found this oil's scent to be tolerable. I also like how this oil contains vitamin E which has great healing properties. I haven't seen this brand in stores, but you can buy this oil online in the links I provided in the About section of this post.

My Thoughts

Let's start with the pros. I like how this hairspray is lightweight and lightly scented. There isn't an underlying chemical scent that I've noticed in some hairsprays. My hair is already thick, but I noticed this hairspray seemed to give my hair a thicker fuller appearance. My hair has a lot of volume when I use this hairspray. Now for the cons I noticed that my hair was really dry a few hours after I used this hairspray. I tried to reduce the amount of hairspray I used the next time I used it on my hair and my hair didn't feel as dry and my hair felt softer. I'm thinking I may have used to much hairspray the first time. I really couldn't tell a shiny look to my hair so that was a little disappointing. Overall this hairspray was ok. I plan on using this hairspray, but now I know that I can't use to much on my hair if I don't want my hair to feel dry and brittle.

My Thoughts

So I don't play any sports lol, but nonetheless this hair gel does hold well against humidity and heat. I know its Fall, but in the South we've experienced some warm days a few weeks ago. I thought that would be a perfect time to wear this gel in my hair. I don't typically wear gel on daily basis, but this is a gel worked well for hairstyles that I wear. I like how this gel doesn't make my hair feel dry out like some gels I've used in the past. I also like how this gel is alcohol free which is likely why my hair doesn't feel dry since alcohol is known for causing dryness. Overall I think this is a really good gel to use on my hair.

Bath and Body Works Holiday Haul 2015 Collaboration

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my 300th post! It's my favorite time of year! Christmas is almost here! Now with all that being said, I bring you another Bath and Body Works Collaboration Haul with my good friend Ashley! Today's haul will focus on holiday items! Side note, this is more of a collective haul over the past two months. I didn't get all these items at one time lol!

Honestly this is my favorite time of year to shop at Bath and Body Works because of the holiday candles and hand soap soaps. I just think they smell amazing!

1. Gentle Foaming Hand Orchard Frost

Bath and Body Works Description: The sparkling scent of frosted apples & winter sunlight

My Thoughts: This hand soap smells like a frozen apple. I'm not to sure of the other scent I smell though lol, but whatever it is the scent smells really nice.

2. Gentle Foaming Hand Soap Snow Kissed Citrus

Bath and Body Works Description: A cold-weather refreshment of sugary winter lemons

My Thoughts: This hand wash smells so good! I smell more of a lemon lime Kool-Aid scent. This is a sweet scented hand wash without being too overpowering.

3. Gentle Foaming Hand Merry Cookie





Bath and Body Works Description: Indulge in the scent of buttery sugar cookies iced with vanilla bourbon frosting

My Thoughts: This soap smells nice. I just thought that this hand soap would smell sweeter. It smells like vanilla cookies, but I wish the hand soap smelled more like the Merry Cookie candle.

 4. Merry Cookie 3-Wick Candle

Bath and Body Works Description: Celebrate warm Christmas memories with the scent of classic holiday cookies made from vanilla, butter & sparkling sugar

My Thoughts: This candle smells just like warm sugary vanilla cookies baking. This candle's sent  fills up my house quickly and the throw is strong.  I can't get enough of this candle. I'm so glad I was able to get the last two Merry Cookie candles at my BABW store!

5. Gentle Foaming Hand Frosted Cranberry and Deep Cleansing Hand Soap

Bath and Body Works Description: A cool treat of frosted cranberries sprinkled with iced peach

My Thoughts: I absolutely love this scent! I smell everything that was mentioned in the BABW description. I love the sweet cranberry and peach scent of these hand soaps. After I wash my hands the scent lasts for hours!

6. Frosted Cranberry 3 Wick Candle



Bath and Body Works Description: The year's first frost captured in white cranberry, juicy peach & ripe red raspberries

My Thoughts: I really can't tell a difference between the Frosted Cranberry candles and hand soaps since both smell like sweet cranberries and peaches! This scent is perfect for the holidays and all throughout the year!



7. Marshmallow Fireside 3-Wick Candle



Bath and Body Works Description: A sweet end to a cold day – toasted marshmallows and sumptuous vanilla cream blend into the comforting aroma of rich smoldering wood

My Thoughts:  I have to agree with BABW description because I typically burn this candle when it's cool outside and at night time. I love how this candle has semi sweet vanilla smell, but also a cologne scent without being too masculine scented. I picked these Marshmallow Fireside candles in October and they were the last two left. I see why this candle is so popular it smells really good! I'm starting to notice that it seems like I get that last two of certain candles from BABW lol

8. Buttercream Frosting 3-Wick Candle



Bath and Body Works Description: The mouthwatering fragrance of fluffy buttercream frosting on a rich vanilla cupcake

My Thoughts: I picked up a few of these candles back in September when Ashley and I did our last candle collaboration. Here is what I wrote: This candle smells so good! It reminds me of my mama's homemade buttercream frosting and now I want a piece of cake! It smells more of a fluffy buttercream scent with hints of vanilla in the throw. This candle is similar to Vanilla Bean Marshmallow except (in my opinion) I think the Buttercream Icing smells better I burned this candle the other day, and  my house smells like a bakery full of sweet buttercream within 30 minutes! Birthstone (December) Makeup: Blue Zircon

We're FINALLY in the last month of the year, December! For those of you that have been following and reading my blog, already know that I have a birthday this month :) This birthday will be different than others since it's a milestone. I'll be 30 years old on Christmas Day. Now with that being said let get on to the birthstone month FOTD

Buying on a Budget in Today's Economy

Hello Everyone!

In today's economy people are looking for ways to save a few dollars. I thought this would be a good topic to post since the holidays season is here (and to post in general). Today I bring you a few of my tips on how I try to save money when making purchases.


1. Do Your Homework


When buying on a budget, you should try and exhaust all your money saving options. Look for bargains, sales, coupons etc.


2. Use Coupons


As I mentioned in tip #1, if you do your homework you can find a coupon on most items. I'm NOT an extreme couponer, but I do like to use coupons. I've saved so much money by couponing. When couponing make sure you look at the dates of expiration etc.


3. Price Match


Check the store(s) policy about price matching. I know that Walmart does price matching. As the holiday season approaches (and in general), this will come in handy with saving a few dollars.


4. Buy in Bulk


When stores have products that I like or need on sale. I might buy in bulk. Depending on what your purchasing, you sometimes can buy two products for the price of one.


 5. Check for Mistakes in the Store with Pricing


Lets say an item was on sale last week for $2.50 and this week its $4.00, but store still has the item for $2.50 the store has to honor that price of $2.50. Many people don't know that.


6. Check for Damages


Another thing people dont realize if you buy a product and it is damaged this can vary from clothing to food, the merchant can offer the same product/item at full price. If you insist on purchasing the current damaged product/item, the merchant should offer you a discount or you can request for a discount price.


7. Purchase Items During Off Season


Near the end of or after a season or holiday, you will notice that items go on sale. Sometimes you can find items for 50%-75%.


8. Shop the Clearance Section


Some of my most favorite items come from the clearance section (especially Victoria's Secret). Clearance is another area that you may save up to 50%-75% off depending on the store.
