Hello Everyone!

Disclaimer: The product in this post was sent to me from Palmer's for review purposes All opinions are 100% my own

Spray lotions seem to be so popular again this year. Today I have a new spray lotion review on Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion.

About the Product and Claims Etc.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion provides instant cooling and moisture. This non-greasy formula sprays on easily and our RapidSorb Technology allows for quick absorption, leaving skin soft, smooth and refreshed

For best results, hold can 3-4 inches from skin and spray in a continuous motion. Rub gently into skin

Key Ingredients

- Cocoa Butter: a rich natural moisturizer that leaves skin soft and silky, tranforming even the roughest, driest areas into buttery soft skin.

- Vitamin E: a powerful antioxidant that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and imperfections on the skin, giving a more even and toned appearance.

- Aloe: cools and soothes skin

My Thoughts

I feel a little conflicted on how I feel about this spray lotion. Let's start with the pros. I like the instant cooling from the spray and the aloe does help cool and soothe my skin. This is a great spray to use when your in a rush, or just for everyday use. The lotion has nice light chocolate scent mixed with aloe and the spray is non greasy. The spray is easy to use, it's very light weight, and it absorbs rather quickly. If you don't like thick textured lotions, then you may want to look into getting this product. I also like how this product is free of parabens and phthalates.

As for the cons, I really wish this spray provided more moisture. After an hour and half, my skin felt kind of dull and dry. The only claim I find to be untrue the 24 hour moisture. I typically don't have dry skin as problem, so I know it was the lotion that made my skin feel dry. Throughout the day I reapplied the this lotion about 3 times. To help provide more moisture to my skin, I added a little of the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula that's in the jar in addition to using the spray lotion and the problem of lack of moisture was solved.

This is the type of cocoa butter I was talking about that I use to add extra moisture to the rapid spray lotion.

That's really the only con I have with this product, the lack of consistency in moisture. I probably would purchase this spray lotion because my pros outweigh my cons list. If you don't mind reapply a few times throughout the day (maybe you won't encounter the same issues I had), then I recommend giving this a try.

Ive never tried a spray lotion before! I would be annoyed about having to reapply it but I really only use lotion at night after a shower so I guess maybe that wouldn't apply to me lol!! Great review Pilar! I love how this has aloe in it!

I love products that contain aloe. Aloe is good for the skin! Too bad about the spray lotion lacking moisture. Great review!

I've been curious about spray lotions, so thank you for an honest reivew. It doesn't really seem like it would be any faster than applying a light lotion.

Thanks! It was annoying to reapply all those times, but I really like the aloe in the lotion. That's why I was determined to find a way to add extra moisture when using this lotion. Using the cocoa butter in the jar that I have pictured helps add more moisture!

Thank you! Aloe is one of the reasons why I I didn't give up on this spray lotion! If the formula could be revised, it would be a great spray lotion!

Thanks! I agree spray lotions are convenient to have around! Thankfully I don't have dry skin, but I was a little disappointed in how this lotion didn't provide that much moisture.

Thank you and I agree!

Thank you and you're welcome! I first used this lotion when I got out the shower and it was a miss for me. Like I mentioned earlier this is a lotion that I had to work with! I'm just glad that I solved the moisture issue. When I added the cocoa butter, I also noticed that I didn't have to reapply the lotion.

You're welcome!

This is the second spray lotion I've used, I like to try different lotions as long as the lotion can provide moisture!

You're welcome! I agree! The only difference is that it comes in a can, which is convenient for when you're on the go!
