Handmade Blanket
When I moved it was a pleasant surprise to find this Fall inspired blanket I made a few years ago. I thought my blanket got ruined in that flood that South Carolina had in 2015. Thankfully it was safely tucked way in a plastic tote. I guess I overlooked it at the last house. Since it's still a little earlier, I'll probably display this on the recliner in October or November.
In speaking of floods, please don't forget the Hurricane and Flood Victims affected by Hurricane Harvey.
- Sweater Weather
I love wearing sweaters as the days get cooler. I'm more a long sleeves type of girl, but I do love my sweaters and hoodies.
Hot Cocoa
My favorite drink during the colder months! I just picked this up the other day lol

So glad to hear you're feeling better Pilar! As much as I enjoy summer, fall is up there as my favorite season because I love the transition. I just feel like it never lasts long enough though.

This blanket is so pretty and cozy, Pilar, and the colors are perfect for Fall. I am waiting patiently for the season as well. Ooooo, this hot cocoa looks so good. I'll have to try that. And the boots are cute. I love the Fall season of boots and sweaters and jeans. : )

Thanks Rowena! I feel that Fall never lasts long enough too! I hope that it will be a cooler Fall here, because we had a pretty mild Winter except for January was pretty cold!

I have been waiting for FALL for a month now! Has not even been a bad summer but I just love Fall.....the best, the smells, the crisp feel in the air, the colors and the cool temps.
I love Fall, but it usually doesn't start to feel like Fall until the season is almost over since it's mild here. It's still my favorite season!

Hey. Yes please keep the hurricane victims in our thoughts. I like fall to and love those boots. And I live in hoodies too. Love hot chocolate too. And smoked eyes. You dream of cooler weather when fall and winter comes around I'm dreaming of warming weather. Cooler weather is nice but it just reminds the ppl of the north that winter is coming along with the snow. It would be nice if there was a place that we could enjoy fall type weather without having snow follow it.
Also I really love that blanket. Wish I could crochet like that. Maybe one day.
It doesn't snow too often here and last Winter was mild, except January was pretty cold! I'll be happy for any kind of cool weather since its been so hot this Summer!
