Pilar in the Pantry: Quick and Easy Garlic Bread

Hello Everyone!

Garlic bread is one bread that most people will agree goes great with pasta dishes. Whether you're making pasta, or you just want to eat a slice of garlic bread, today I'm going to be sharing my recipe for making homemade garlic butter to put on your bread.

Ingredients

- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1 stick butter softened (I used 1/2 stick for 6 slices)
- Garlic Powder (add how much you like)
- Dried parsley flakes optional

Other Materials

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F degrees.

In a bowl, mix softened butter and garlic powder

Slice bread into 1-inch slices

Spread garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice, and Place bread onto aluminum foil baking sheet.

Bake for about 10 minutes until garlic butter is melted onto bread.

Bon Appetit!

I love homemade garlic bread! I like the packaged garlic bread, but homemade just tastes so much better! Great recipe!

Thanks Shireen! When drafted this recipe, I just moved in my new place at the time so I didnt have all the ingredients I wanted to put on the garlic bread. I usually add parsley and romano cheese!

You're welcome! This is such an easy recipe and I thought I would share it! I've been making homemade garlic bread for years, well when I don't get it out of the feeezer section lol.

One of my faves!! I make mine with hot dog buns--there's an old tutorial somewhere on the blog, haha.

I haven't made garlic bread with hot dog buns, but I have used hamburger buns! I like that you can use almost various types of bread to make garlic bread! I'll have to check out your recipe!

I love one pot meals...cause gosh who wants to cook in summer heat. I also read your reply about using buns as garlic bread...you make me smile sweet girl. Why waste food right? Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

Thanks Susie! You're too kind! I know right! Sometimes I prefer to use buns, bread is bread lol. I actually did share my homemade crock pot Lasagna almost two years ago, but here's the link :)

This heat is no joke, but the crock pot lasagna is so easy to make and you wont have to spend a lot of time cooking! Blessings to you as well!

Your garlic bread looks so good, Pilar. You know, I can eat just bread and butter for a meal. The softened butter with garlic powder sounds like a good idea. Your crock pot lasagna, garlic bread, and white grape juice sounds like the perfect meal and an easy one to make since it's been so hot lately. : )

Thanks Sheri! I find the softened butter and garlic makes spreading on the bread easier. That was one of the first meals I made when I moved since it was a simple meal. I've been making crock pot lasgna for years :)
