This isn't my apartment complex, This is just one of the places that I like to walk.
Part of my counseling treatment is that I do light exercise. Up until a few years ago I used to try to exercise on a regular basis, but I slacked off until recently. My counselor suggested that I get back to light exercise to help ease some of my depression and anxiety symptoms.
For the past few weeks I've started walking in the mornings. I find that walking does help ease my anxiety in the morning. It takes my mind off of things and I'm getting in touch with nature. When I went to the doctor last month I found out that I've lost 9lbs!
I like to get out early and go walking since it's so hot here. The times it's too hot in the morning or I get a late start, I try to walk around the mall before it opens. I'll would like start back with cardio soon, but for right now I'm enjoying my morning walks.
