A Basket Full of Benefit Cosmetics

Hello Everyone!

*Disclaimer: Thank you Benefit for sending these products! All opinions are 100% my own.

About two weeks ago I received a few new goodies from Benefit. I showed part of the products in my recent PR Haul, but here are all the products sent over :)

I've used Benefit products over the years so I'm not new to the brand, but I haven't tried everything pictured. Benefit is known for their brow products, and honestly Benefit does have the best brow products on the market in my opinion.

I've been using They're Real! Lengthening Mascara, The POREfessional Face Primer, hoola matte bronzer
And Precisely My Brow Pencil for years and these have become some of my favorite makeup products.

I've done done one makeup look so far using these products. Stay tuned for that and other makeup looks using Benefit Cosmetics!

Shopping Deals and Meatless Meals

Hello Everyone!

Today I bring you another mashup post. If you didn't know a mash up post is a post that contains two different topics combined into one.

During my last trip to Target I needed to get a few home essentials, but I also needed to pick up a few other items as well. Thankfully I went on a day the sales associates were stocking the shelves.

I was looking for the Waterproof Version of this Garnier Micellar Water, but this is the only one I saw at CVS.

My favorite rose quartz Roller was damage when I received it, so I wanted to get another one. I found this Roller at Target by Sonia Kashuk.

While at Target I also came across this beauty organizer. I think I'm going to use this organizer for makeup brushes.

I've been looking for a cute pair of cute white sandals for the Summer and I found them at Target. Target has been having great deals on sandals lately. I got these sandals on sale for $22.50 (original price $34.00)

Ravioli in Spinach Alfredo Sauce

A few posts back I mentioned that I was going to incorporate spinach into a few pasta meals. Last night I decided to try one of  the meals.

Drained and cooked ravioli and spinach (cook as directed on package)

Add alfredo sauce

Mix ravioli, spinach, and alfredo sauce together. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

Add mozzarella on top and serve. Overall the pasta was pretty good. Next time I'll probably use Prego Alfredo Sauce or make my own. I don't like really like Ragu Alfredo Sauce, but that was the only sauce available. If you don't like spinach, you can't even really taste the spinach.  If you're looking to add more iron in your diet like me, or want to try a meatless meal give this recipe a try.

Not a meal, but I also had a bowl of fruit (grapes, blueberries, and strawberries) from Publix

The Unofficial Start of Summer

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone's Monday is off to a great start! I don't have that many plans for Memorial Day today. I'll probably make homemade hamburgers later, but that's about it. Since Memorial Day is the unofficial start of Summer, today I wanted to share a few of my favorite things.

Since South Carolina has eased restrictions, Lake Murray has been crowded so I didn't get to take any new pictures of the lake. Here is a photo I took a few months right before sunset.

Urban Decay Born to Run Palette

Travel may not be possible right now, but I can always be on the go with Urban Decay's Born to Run palette. When this Palette was released I knew it was going to be something special just by the packaging. The beautiful shadows in this palette are perfect for any time during the year.

I live in sandals during the Summer. I usually try to wear sandals that aren't so flat since some flat sandals can be bad for your feet.

Before I wear sandals I usually have a pedicure. I always do at home pedicures with my Zoya Nail Polish and supplies.

I've been trying to go walking a few times a week.  I really don't like going for walks during the Summer since it's so hot and humid (even if it's early), but the Vitamin D and exercise is good for me so I make it a priority. Don't forget to use sunscreen!

Hot and humid days require cold treats! You probably have noticed my obsession with Outshine Fruit Bars. These popsicles are so good and they're made with real fruit. The vanilla ice cream isn't the healthiest treat, but it sure tastes delicious!

These decor items are from last year's Spring Decor Items from Target's Bullseye Playground. I went with this theme for Spring 2020 and I'll probably use these items for Summer as well.

In speaking of Target, it's still one of my favorite stores even though I don't go to Target very often since the pandemic began. Now I go to Target to find basic essentials.

On Memorial Day, let us never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thank You for your service.

Target Beauty Essentials

Hello Everyone!

* Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Derma E in collaboration with Target. Thank you Derma E for sponsoring this post. All opinions in this post are 100% my own.

Since this pandemic and quarantine began, I have been advocating for self care. You can't have self care without a few beauty essentials. Derma E sent over a Target Gift Card for a little retail therapy 🙂 Thank you Derma E for this wonderful gift card!

All the items were packaged neatly inside this cute Target box.

I've mentioned numerous times that Derma E's Vitamin C Micellar Water is my favorite micellar water. This is one product that I constantly repurchase. I just started using the Gentle Daily Cleansing Paste a few months ago and it really helps keep my skin clear.

Derma E recently released a few new hair care products. I wanted to try the Scalp Relief Conditioner and Shampoo. I don't have eczema on my scalp, but my scalp does tend to become very dry.

I've had my eye on a few skincare tools from Spa Sciences for a few months including their Hair Removal Dermaplaning Tool. I heard that this hair removal tool helps remove peach fuzz and helps apply your makeup more smoothly.

Remember to set time aside to engage in self care! You can find all these product at Target and Target.com

Virtual Calls and Grocery Hauls

Hello Everyone!

Since going to the grocery store has become more of a search and hope to find, lately have to break my shopping trip up in two or three weekly trips. Some trips are more successful than others, but nonetheless I'm blessed to find food.

Food Lion has been one of my go to stores. This particular day I was able to find most of what I needed in terms of food.

I haven't been able to get fresh fruit in about two and a half months, so when I saw fruit I was so happy!

I may have a slight obsession with Outshine Fruit Bars lol. They're so good, and the fruit Bars are made with real fruit. When I saw these on sale I had to get a few boxes.

Last week I had a Virtual Visit with my regular doctor.  My original appointment was scheduled for August, but since I had that issue with my arm she wanted to make sure things were ok.  The plan is to see how I'm doing in a few weeks and to let her know if anything gets worse. I may have visit an orthopedic. Since the coronavirus is going on scheduling with specialist in person may be a challenge. My hope is that I don't have any dislocation or bone fragments in my elbow. When I fell 10 years ago my X-ray didn't show any broken bones.

My doctor also asked me about how I've been feeling due to those severe nutrient deficiencies that I have. I have been tired since I haven't had a b12 shot since this pandemic started, but I'm currently looking for b12 vitamins until I can go back to my doctor for an in person visit. I looked for a bottle of B12 Vitamins when I went to pick up my prescription, but no luck.

I don't like most foods that help with iron absorption, but I do like spinach (spinach helps with iron). I was able to find spinach and a few other items during last weeks grocery trip. I wanted to try two different recipes with spinach.

Last but not least I finally found home and cleaning essentials. The shelves are still empty, but after going to 4 different stores I was able to find the supplies I needed.

PR Haul

Hello Everyone!

* Disclaimer: This posts contains PR Samples from various brands. I want to thank each brand for sending over product(s) for review! All opinions are 100% my own.

Today I wanted to share on the blog a few items from a recent PR Haul. Let's get started.

Chique Tools

About two weeks ago I received these beautiful Brush sets from Chique Tools. I've shown brushes and Brush Sets from Chique over the past few years on my blog and Instagram page. I love that these brushes are so affordable.

The two brush sets include a 5 piece face set and a 5 piece eye brush set.

Derma E

Last month Derma E sent over their Skin De-stress Calming CBD Cleanser. This was my first time using CBD Infused Skincare.

You can read my Derma E De-Stress Calming CBD Cleanser HERE

Curls The Ultimate Styling Collection

Curls has also been focusing on Self Care, and they sent over more of their Ultimate Styling Collection. You can read more about the products from review I posted in March HERE. I will have an updated hair tutorial sometime next month.

Clinique

I also received a few products from Clinique a few weeks ago that I originally planned to review earlier, but that would have ruined my mom's Mother's Day Gift because I had products for her as well and I know she reads my blog lol.

In speaking of Mother's Day, here are my mom's gifts. My mom was the person who introduced me to Clinique years ago, so I thought it would be a perfect gift that she had products as well. She loved her gifts :) (the candle isn't a gift, she love the fragrance)

Morphe

Morphe is one of my favorite brands. They sent over these goodies yesterday.

This is my first time trying a Morphe Setting Spray. I hear so many positive things about this setting Spray and  I can't wait to try it!

Benefit Cosmetics

I recieved these products today. I've used Benefit for a some of my makeup posts especially when I first started blogging. Benefit is a really good brand and they're known for their brow products.

As you can see Benefit also has many other cosmetics outside of their brow products. That was super sweet of them to send over a few products :)

Once again I want to thank all the companies that sent over these lovely products!

The Holidays are Coming!

Hello Everyone! It's that time of year again! We're almost at the holiday season. I said almost because Thanksgiving isn't here ...
