Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Hello Everyone! I just celebrated my 31st brithday on Christmas Day :) For those of you that celebrate Christmas I hope that you enjoyed your day, and for those of you that don't, I hope that you are having a nice holiday season. You know its kind of funny because I was just getting used to the idea of being 30 and now I just turned 31! I swear this year went by fast!

Some of my birthday gifts from my mama, my Godmother, and my best friend from college. My other best friend got me a card, but I'll get that later when I see him.

I can't wait to use my new makeup goodies!

Beauty Favorites 2016

Hello Everyone!

It's that time of year again to share my Beauty Favorites for the year. This year I tried a lot of of different and new products and these are items that made my list.

Eyeshadows

Lorac Pro 3

I absolutely love this palette. If you like neutral colors this is a great palette to have in your collection. I've reach for this quite often since July.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

I got this last year as a birthday present and I've been in love ever since lol. I may not reach for this everyday, but I feel this palettes belonged on my favorites list since I like to create most of Smokey Eye looks using these colors.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette 

Ok, I won't lie I got this on sale during the Summer lol. I like this palette because of the neutrals, but I don't think I would've paid the $56 for it. The quality of the palette is really good, but it just doesn't stand out.

Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo Eyeshadows

From left to right top row:

- Creamy Beige

- Tough as Toupe

From left to right bottom row:

- Too Cool

- Bold Gold

I think I have 9 or 10 of these Eyeshadows, but these are some of my most used. These shadows are good to use as an eyeshadow or as a base, especially Creamy Beige and Tough as Toupe.

Milani Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Collection 

- Bare Necessities  (02)

- Earthy Elements (05)

I had to have the whole collection of these palettes lol. I love the whole collection of the Everyday Eyes Collection, but I made myself narrow it down to the two I used the most.  I really love how these palettes are long lasting and very pigmented.

Colorupop Liquid Lipsticks

Lychee (UML)

Is it me or did Colourpop completely take over the makeup world?! I just started getting products from their site in the Spring and I've been hooked ever since! I'll be honest, I like their liquid lipsticks more than I like their super shock shadows. Their liquid lipsticks are so long lasting. The Matte liquid lipsticks last longer than the Satin liquid lipsticks, but both are very good quality lipsticks. 

MAC Lipsticks

- Candy Yum Yum

Twig has made my favorites list for a second year lol. I just really love this lipstick. I also found myself wearing Blankety and Candy Yum Yum quite often.

Milani Lipsticks 

I just started wearing Milani lipsticks in January of this year and they've quickly become on of my favorite brands of lipsticks.  Most of these lipsticks are dupes for most of my MAC lipsticks and the quality is pretty good as well. 

Side Note: I haven't forgotten about doing my Milani Lipstick Collection  post. You can look forward to that post sometime next year :)

Face Products 

Since I have sensitive skin, I try to look for foundations that won't cause issues for my skin.  I think that I found winners with these drugstore foundations.  I've said this before,  but I'm really happy that this year I've been able to find  cost friendly drugstore foundations that provide moderate to full coverage.

Perfumes and Body Mists

I'm very picky about perfumes and lotions etc, but these fragrances smell so nice! I usually like  more sweet scented perfumes and all of these defintely provided a sweet scent. Pink Friday and Bright Crystal have both have a floral and sweet scent but the balance in both is perfect. Golden Pineapple Luau smells wonderful too. It kinda reminds me of a Pina colada.

This candle automatically caught my attention. If you follow my blog, you probably already know that I love candles and this one smells so good! This candle reminds me of Bath and Body Work's Winter 3 wick cande, except this candle has a lighter woodsy scent.

What a gorgeous necklace! I don't own anything like this in my jewelry collection. I can't wait to wear this necklace!

4. Marie Mae Company Thank You Card Set

This is such a beautiful thank you card set! These cards are perfect to send out during Holidays or anytime you need to send someone a thank you card. This set includes 10 thank you cards and envelopes.

5. Moleskine 2017 Weekly Planner

This color is so pretty!

I was unaware of the stickers until I looked in the back of the planner.

I have a Planner that I use for blogging, but this Planner will come in handy for my personal schedule next year. I also really like the color!

6. Butter London Iconoclast Mascara

I've never used a Butter London Product, so I'm looking forward to using this Mascara. I love how  this mascara is full sized. I plan on doing a full review on this product.

7. O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Peel Face

I'm unfamiliar with this brand. This product is supposed to brighten skin and remove dead skin cells. I'm interested in seeing if this product will live up to its claims. The scent smells very clean and fresh. 

8. Anderson Lilley Beach Butter Body Cream

I'm also unfamiliar with this brand, but I love using body butters especially during the colder months. I really like the scent. It smells just like the description, tangerines.

So many goodies in this box! I can't wait to test out everything!
