Happy Halloween!

 Hello Everyone!

It feels kinda strange that Halloween is on Sunday this year. I'm not doing much this weekend, but I did create a quick makeup look and I'm having another at home movie night.

Space Girl Makeup 2021. I haven't done a Halloween Makeup Look since 2018.

This was my first Halloween Manicure this week. Takes to Mango by China Glaze. It's a perfect neon orange for Halloween.

This Halloween Box is too cute from CVS!

Thank you CVS for sending over this amazing Halloween Box! To create my makeup look I used products from this box.

This is my 2nd Halloween Manicure for the week 🎃 I don't typically wear false nails, but these Halloween Nails from Kiss are beautiful and perfect for Halloween.

A few snacks for watching Halloween themed shows and movies with my mom this weekend. Also, if you like Oreos you'll probably love Cookie Pop Popcorn. It's so good!

I'm not big on super scary movies, so I watched a few episodes of the Simpsons Tree House of Horror that I recorded on the DVR. I'll probably watch a few more episodes later today as well.

I haven't seen Halloween in years. I also recorded this on the DVR so I could watch over the weekend.

Happy Halloween! 🎃

10 things I do before 10 am

 Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to share 10 things I like to do before 10 am. This list isn't always in order, but I find these things help me have a more productive day and to stay focused.

1. Pray

When I wake up I usually say a prayer for the day. I Doing this helps put me in a good headspace. After I say my prayers in the morning depending on the time I'll stay in bed for a little while and then I'll get up and start my morning.

2. Open the curtains

Rain or shine, my curtain will be opened lol. Since I have depression, light seems to help my symptoms. It's something beautiful about opening the curtains on a sunny morning.

3. Get a cold bottle of water

I love water and I try to drink a bottle in the morning before I get my day started. It helps me hydrate.

4. Take a shower

A shower helps wake me up in the morning. I'm usually up early and getting things done in the morning, but I'm not a morning person lol.

5. Get breakfast

Breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day. I'm not the greatest on eating breakfast, but I eat breakfast more than I used to.

6. Write down the days agenda/goals

I used to use a planner, but sometimes planners give me anxiety. I'll like structure and organization, but I find a regular notebook helps

7. Affirmations

When I speak words over my life and myself I try to speak postive things into existence and work on making them a reality. Above are a few of the affiliate that I shared on my blog at the beginning of year. If you want to read all of my affirmations for 2021 you can read that post HERE.

8. Exercise

I don't do this everyday, but I try to get a short morning walk in for about 10 to 15 minutes. Also when I get out of bed in the morning I do a few stretches for about 5 to 10 minutes.

10. Schedule Free Time

Depending on what I have going on, I try to schedule some free time for myself. It doesn't have to be long. I listen to music, or in this instance burning a candle. Aromatherapy is so peaceful.

The Ultimate Skincare Sunday

 Hello Everyone!

Today I'm having the Ultimate Skincare Sunday at home. I'm doing a full skincare routine, and my nails.

Since I usually show my bathtime routines, today I wanted to stick with my shower routine. I love baths, but I usually take more showers.  This is my current set up in my shower caddy.

I love this body wash. Dove has some of the best body washes.

Sunday Skincare Face Products

I received this as a gift from Vanity Planet about two months ago and I love it!

The steam feels so good on my face.

I can't wait to incorporate this facial steamer in more of my skincare routines

The weather is all over the place again. It feels cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon. I've switched over to using more hydrating products to keep my skin hydrated. I love this DERMA E Vitamin E Skin Oil. I use on my face and my body.

Now for nail care. I've been caring for my nails for a while now so I know what works and what doesn't work for them. Having nutrient deficiencies can cause my nails to be brittle, but my nails have been getting stronger. Remember nail care is also important when doing skincare routines.

Countdown to Christmas on Hallmark Channel

 Hello Everyone!

It's that time of year again! Countdown to Christmas begins tonight on Hallmark Channel! Tonight is the first Christmas Hallmark Movie for the upcoming Christmas Season. I like to watch a few Hallmark Christmas Movies. I know some may think Christmas movies can be cheesy, but I think these types of movies can show the spirit of the season through hope, love, and kindness. In the world we live in now, I think these movies help remind of us there is still good in this world. Don't forget those little magical moments.

It's starting! 🙂🎄

You, Me, & The Christmas Trees

This was the alternative, but I just had regular popcorn instead.

I'm unsure if I'm going to watch all three premieres this weekend, but I'm making tonight a movie night. I made a cup of Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate and a bowl of popcorn.

This is a pretty good movie!
