Projects with Pilar: Christmas Decor DIY's

Hello Everyone!

Over the past month I've been making a few new things for Christmas and today I wanted show some of my latest creations.

If you remember last year I just used the bells for the tree topper. My original plan was to incorporate the bell into a bow.  I'm so happy I made that into a reality this year!

Bow and bell tree topper without flash. I had to make the bow larger since it was too small to be a topper for the tree. I forgot to take a picture, but I'll show the bow once the tree is finished.

I had so much fun making this wreath. It's so festive and the colors match the ornaments etc for the Christmas tree!

Christmas door wreath without flash.

This was the first project I worked on for the season. I originally got these materials for another project, but I ended up making a large candle box.

Have you started decorating or crafting for Christmas?

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!  For everyone  that's going Black Friday shopping, I hope you find some great deals and stay safe! Finally!!! I can't wait to start decorating for Chrismas. I don't know if it's because my birthday is on Christmas or I just love Christmas in general, but I love to look at decorations and decorate.

Last week I picked up a few last minute decorations and crafting supplies etc.

Some of the stored decorations that I took out this morning.

Last but not least the guest of honor in my home, the christmas tree! The decorating process will probably happen sometime over the weekend. I'll show the tree decorated in a later post once everything is finished!

I don't think I'm doing blogmas this year, but don't worry I'll have plenty of holiday themed post throughout the month of December! Happy Holidays :)

Thankful

Hello Everyone!

Since we're only a few days away from Thanksgiving, I thought it would be a good time to write my yearly thankful post.

First let me say I'm thankful everyday.  It's a blessing to see another day. When I wake up in the morning I always say a prayer.

The simple things we sometimes take for granted I'm thankful.

The people in my life, My beautiful loving, kind, amazing mother, and my dear friends. I'm thankful

Having shelter, and basic necessities I'm thankful

As we get ready to celebrate a day of thanks lets not forget those who are facing adversity, ill, homeless, and those who are no longer with us.

For all my blogger friends, followers, and anyone else who is reading and celebrating, may you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I posted two posts on my blog today. Don't forget to check out my Thanksgiving Inspired Makeup 2017

Thanksgiving Inspired Makeup 2017

Hello Everyone!

The holidays are practically here, and for a lot of us, this is a pretty busy time of year. I've been pretty busy myself lately, and I haven't been putting on makeup. If time is your issue, but you still want to wear makeup I have just the tutorial for a Thanksgiving makeup look.

Thanksgiving Inspired Makeup Products

Usually I go for a vampy, or plum lip. This year I wanted to wear a brownish color. I'm wearing Colourpop Liquid Lipstick in the shade Frick n Frack.

I also switched up the eyeshadow this year. On the lid I'm wearing a bronze shade from the Carli Bybel Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette. I also used the same palette for the transition shade a light brown shade. I went back over the crease with Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Porter for that cranberry look.

For my face makeup I went with Maybelline products. Primer: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Foundation and Powder: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation and Powder. I also used a bronze highlighter from the Carli Bybel Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette.

Come Along with Me: Christmas at Bath and Body Works and White Barn

Hello Everyone!

Well Christmas fever has hit me again lol. Today (technically yesterday) I wanted to take you along with me to Bath and Body Works. This trip was a little unexpected, but my mom wanted to go look for a few things.

My happy place :)

Have you tried the bath fizzies? I was thinking about getting a few to try. Any reccomendations?

I really love that Bath and Body Works started selling more body butters.

My favorite scent for the past few months, Magic in the Air.

Fine Fragrances

Is it me or some of the candles are a little stronger this year? I thought last years version of Hot Cooca and Cream was perfect, but I notice this year it smells a little stronger. I skipped this years version.

My other happy place lol :)

I love candles

I love how White Barn has such beautiful candle holders.

Goodies from yesterday's candle haul. My mom is so sweet. My birthday is on Christmas, but she surprised me with a few early candles and a candle holder. Thanks again mama! I love you! She picked up a few candles too. How cute are the bags this year?

Frosted Cranberry is one of my holiday favorites.  I look forward to burning the new scents Capri Citron and Merry Mimosa.

I love the lids on the White Barn Frosted Cranberry this year.

This candle holder is beautiful!

I get these candles every year. Frozen Lake is the only new candle I haven't tried. If you're familiar with Oceanside or Ocean Therapy, it smells similar to those candles except with eucalyptus. What happened to Merry Cookie? I look forward to that candle every year. I'm still hoping BABW will bring it back this year!

FAN MOMENT! Thanks Bath and Body Works for liking my photo on Instagram!

I had such a nice time with my mom yesterday at Bath and Body Works. What are some of your favorite holiday scents from Bath and Body Works? Are you attending Candle Day this year?
