Pre-Fall Inspired Makeup 2020

Hello Everyone!

Since Fall is coming up soon, I wanted to post a few Fall Preview Posts this week. Today I'm going to start with a Fall Inspired Makeup Look.

During the first month of Fall I typically wear either a smokey eye paired with a nude lip, or a neutral eye paired with a dark vampy lip. I don't wear both. I like to save more vampy looks for October/November.

Products Used

Urban Decay Naked Palette

For this look, I used my original UD Naked Palette. I still can't believe UD discontinued this iconic palette.

For my eye makeup, I used the following:
Buck as a transition shade and over the lid
Dark Horse on top of Buck in the Crease
Creep for the Outer V paired with a winged liner.

Victoria's Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick

I really love these lipsticks. I hope VS will bring them back. The quality is so good!

I created a Vampy Ombre Lip to complete this look. 1st I used a black eye liner pencil from Pixi, to outline my lips, 2nd I used Victoria's Secret Velvet Matte Lipstick in Drama and Lastly I used Victoria's Secret Velvet Matte Lipstick in Desire on top of Drama to create my ombre lip.

Happy Almost Fall!

Hello Everyone!

* Disclaimer: This posts contains PR Samples from Word of Communications for No Mo Stache to review. Thank you Word of Mouth Communications for sending over these products. All opinions are 100% my own. Product information provided by www.nomostache.co

Recently I was contacted about trying out a these products from No Mo Stache. Since this pandemic began, not every waxing salon is open or people have fear about going to places in general. I thought it would be a good idea to try at home waxing. These products are also good to use for travel. I like the idea of a protable hair removal kit.

About No Mo Stache

No Mo-Stache was founded by Gita Vasseghi, with the goal of providing women a convenient way to remove hair on the go. She created the first ever portable hair removal kit and is redefining the way women approach hair removal.

Since the company was founded in 2015. No Mo-Stache has been featured on ABC's "Shark Tank" is available at over 10,000 retail locations world-wide.

No Mo-Stache is a portable lip wax kit that offers 24 single wax strips (12 double sided) you can use anywhere on your face. Hair removal strips for your face that are so easy to use and great for travel.

No Mo-Unibrow is a portable brow wax kit with 24 individual wax strips you can use for the brows or anywhere on your face. Includes bonus mini tweezers. Amazing for brow touch-ups any time, any place.

Super slim packaging made for those who live on the go, plus post-wax aloe cream to soothe those sensitive spots.

No Mo-Bush offers (8 double sided)16 bikini wax strips for legs, bikini, arms whatever!

Perfectly portioned for suitcases and carryalls, this cheekily named kit fits into your busy schedule when stopping at the salon doesn't. Each waxing strip is heated using hand-generated friction, and soothing aloe provides instant relief for post-wax irritation, leaving you with smooth skin for up to three weeks. This is the perfect travel or at home waxing kit for women.

My Thoughts

Since pandemic is very much still in full effect, people are still apprehensive about visiting their normal places when they go out. I think this these products are a great way to have an at home/on the go wax session you can save money and time. I think that it's cool that these products were featured on Shark Tank.  As with any waxing product, I agree that you should test a small patch first before using the entire product. I can have sensitive skin, but these waxing products didn't cause me any issues except for redness. I'm so glad these wax products are hypoallergenic and provide a post aloe cream.

I think the waxing products work better if you don't have thick facial/body hair. I mentioned that because even with the small patch of hair I tested on my arm it didn't do a clean wax and I don't have thick hair on my arms. These are still good products, but don't expect complete hair removal if you have thick hair or at least you may have to use a few strips. On a positive note, the strips did remove peach fuzz from my face and my makeup applied better after usage. You may have noticed that each of strips have multiple usages not just for the name stated on the package. If you don't like waxing, you can also use the facial razor to remove peach fuzz. I did use the razor and it works really well and it didn't cause any irritaion to my skin. You can also get the cute travel mirror to use when your on the go or at home.

Last, but not least I tested the skin care brush. I like using facial devices, but sometimes I like to a manual brush. The sponge part of the brush holds so much product, so I actually used more cleanser than I needed. At least my face was extra clean lol. The brush feels so soft and gentle when on my face. Overall I think these products are worth giving a try especially if your on a budget and looking for a quick and simple waxing self care routine.

You can find these products at Target and Ulta Beauty.

Summer Brightness

Hello Everyone!

Isn't it kinda hard to believe that Summer is almost over? The days sometimes feel like they're running into each other due to quarantine, but seriously Summer is going by fast.

I haven't been creating a lot of makeup looks during my break, but I did come up with this one. The weather has been so rainy and stormy in South Carolina the past few weeks. I wanted to add a little bright color to these gloomy weather days. Side Note: I used my James Charles Palette for this look.

Pink and Purple can brighten any look right? I paired my eye look with outlined lip with a nude lipstick (MAC Blankety) Lash Freak Mascara from Urban Decay has been one of my recent favorite mascaras. I love the way the mascara makes my natural long lashes look.

To continue with a pop of color on my cheeks, I added a orange blush from Milani. I'm not fully back on the blog yet, but I will have new content up soon!

I used Zoya and Essie Nail Polishes in the following hues Left to right: Zoya Eclipse, Essie Style Cartel,   Essie Bikini So Teeny,  Zoya Maren,  Zoya Eleni, Zoya Fisher

Blue is one of my favorite Summer colors

Updated Skincare Organization feat. Original Beauty Box

Hello Everyone!

This post contain a PR Sample from Original Beauty Box. I want to thank Original Beauty Box for sending this product over for review. All opinions are 100% my own.

About a month ago, I shared a recent PR Haul that included a new Original Beauty Box that was sent to me. I was super excited to get a new acrylic box because I love the brand and  I needed a new one to store more of my skincare products. You can see my last skincare organization post HERE

The Pro Box was my first Original Beauty Box that I owned back in 2016. You can see it HERE. The acrylic box above is the Original Beauty Box.

I switched things in my Original Beauty Box drawer. For the drawer I put my Beauty tools and headbands that I use during my skincare routines. You may remember during my first skincare organization post that I needed more space in the acrylic drawers. Honestly I love the dimensions in the Original Beauty Box drawers because I have a more space depth wish and the length is a little longer. Stacked with the Muji Drawers it makes for a great set up.

For Part 1 of my skincare organization, I have cleansers, beauty tools and accessories, lip balms, eye creams, cleansers, skincare minis, serums, masks, scrubs, and eye patches.

I also switched up some of the Muji Drawers. In the photo above I have some of my mini skincare products.

You may noticed most of bottles are full. Typically when I do updated posts like this I try refill some of bottles with mini products/samples of the products I'm refilling.

For Part 2 of skincare organization, I have hydrators, micellar water, foam cleansers,  makeup removers, toners, face mists, oils, creams, lotions, sunscreens, and products for troubled skin.

This is my current skincare organization. I'm not sure if I'll reorganize again, but if I do I'll do another updated post!

Speaking of skincare...I also want to thank Derma E, Drunk Elephant, and CVS for over these skincare products for review. All Opinions are 100% my own.

Derma recently sent over their July 2020 Box, which contained their new Bi Phase Toner. So far I really like the Bi Phase Toner. This toner has a fresh clean scent, and I think it's a great addition to the anti acne line.

I've been using this toner for almost a week and my skin doesn't feel stripped of moisture. This toner does remove access oil without drying my skin. If you have oily skin I recommended giving this toner a try. My face had a minor break out and this toner helped soothe my skin and reduce redness.

I've reviewed the other products (full sized) in this collection last year, (3 Steps to Clearer Skin Feat. Derma E Acne Skincare). All the products are great for fighting against acne.

CVS Beauty Box

CVS is known focusing on health and wellness and in their latest beauty box they sent over a few beauty items.  CVS is one of my favorite places to purchases beauty essentials since they sell clean beauty products. Don't forget to sign up for the beauty club and extra care card! The rewards and coupons help so much with savings!

Drunk Elephant

A few days ago, Drunk Elephant sent over this super cute package! I plan on doing a full review on these products soon!
