Today I'm back with another Zoya Collection, Hello Summer Palette. I love the colors in this year's Summer Collection. There are mix of matte and cream polishes and of course bright fun colors for the Summer!

Zoya Hello Summer Palette

Hello Summer Indeed! As I mentioned in my introduction, this collection has beautiful bright color that are perfect for Summer.

Zoya Darcy

Darcy by Zoya can be best described as a full-coverage, sunny yellow cream. Darcy has a very very subtle shimmer that can be seen in certain lighting or angles.

Zoya Heidi

Heidi by Zoya can be best described as a soft but bright warm orangey-coral creme.Perfect for summer or to warm your nails on a cold winter day.

Zoya Ali

Ali by Zoya can best be described as an ultra-bright warm medium neon pink crème. A fluorescent shade for maximum impact.

Zoya Charisma

Charisma by Zoya can best be described as an ultra bright neon fluorescent magenta/red-toned purple cream. This neon shade dries matte, but also can be worn with topcoat for a glossy finish.

Zoya Dory

Dory by Zoya can be best described as a vibrant cornflower blue with a densely saturated, buttery smooth application. Get ready to rock the waves!

Zoya Ness

Ness by Zoya can be best described as a softened jade green with a hint of blue to make it wearable for all skin tones. Reminiscent of sea glass found on your favorite beaches!

Zoya has done it again with the Hello Summer Palette! All the colors are beautiful, but my favorite hues from this collection are Darcy, Ali, and Dory. These three colors really caught my eye. I don't wear yellow nails that often, but Darcy is such a bright sunny yellow! What are your favorite colors from the Hello Summer Palette? You can find this collection of polishes on zoya.com

It's Just So Hot

 Hello Everyone!

I have lived in South Carolina all of my life and I'll never get used to the heat and humidity. Our Summers are extremely hot and humid and it's only mid June.

There's always a joke here that South Carolina Summers start in April. This morning I had a few errands to run and I wasn't looking forward to the heat. Seriously the other day it was only 10 am and the temp was almost 90 degrees!

I guess it's no need to complain when you have to get things done. Complaining will not make the weather any cooler lol. During running errands this morning, I saw this picture. I've seen it before, but I' think it looks so pretty.

While I was out, I also came across this tree. At first glance I thought it was artificial, but it was real. There were many of these trees and rocks. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go drink a gallon or two of water now! Be safe and stay cool!

Cool Whip and Sara Lee Classic Pound Cake

 Hello Everyone!

Since I posted about food on my last blog post blog post, today I wanted to post about one of my favorite desserts.

I love homemade pound, but as I mentioned I'm keeping meals simple and hopefully stove and oven free this week and that includes dessert! Instead of homemade poundcake, I went with the next best thing a Sara Lee Classic Poundcake with Cool Whip.

This dessert takes me back to childhood. I remember eating Sara Lee Classic Poundcake and Cool Whip during the Summer when my mom didn't make a homemade pound cake. This dessert was one of my favorite treats.

Since Summers are already hot and humid here this pound cake with cool whip makes a great sweet cool treat.

I know people eat whipped cream on pound cake, but I rather have Cool Whip. In my opinion it tastes better on pound cake.

Homemade Crock Pot Lasagna

 Hello Everyone!

It's been a while since I made or posted my homemade Crock Pot Lasagna. Last night I cooked the meat and sauce to let it set overnight in the fridge. This morning I woke up early to layer the lasagna ingredients in the Crock Pot.

It's supposed to be extremely hot and humid here this week so I'm trying to use the stove and oven less as possible lol. Since this is a 6 quart Crock Pot, I'll have plenty Lasagna left over to share and freeze.

I shared my recipe for Crock Pot Lasagna years ago here on my blog, and I'm still using the same recipe.

What are some of your favorite Crock Pot meals?
