Victoria's Secret SAS: Summer 2016

Hello Everyone!

I was torn between writing this post since I really didn't get a variety of things from the SAS at Victoria's Secret this time. I'm going to be honest here the VS SAS really didn't impress me. There weren't that many good sales and most of the clothes I wanted were full price. Just like my Bath and Body Works Haul (I'll link that at the end of the post) I'm glad that I saved my gift and angel reward cards to do a little shopping. The only things I picked up were more sleep shirts since those were on sale. I love these sleep shirts since I can wear them as sleep wear or pair them with leggings or jeans and wear them as tunics lol.

A few more pictures

Did you shop at Victoria's Secret for the SAS?

My Thoughts

This palette is going on my favorite eyeshadow palette list! You can probably tell by now that I have a slight eyeshadow addiction lol and this palette is a winner for me. This is my first time using Younique eyeshadow and I'm very impressed by the quality of shadows in this palette. The shadows are pigmented and long lasting. I think this is a good palette to have if you're looking for a eyeshadow to wear everyday looks. I love a palette that has a lot of neutral colors and there are some really pretty shimmery colors as well such as Brassy. This is the first palette in the collection (There are two other Addiction palettes) Fallout is very minimal and the colors pick up very well on my eyeshadow brushes. I also like how this palette is travel friendly and it has been an essential item in my makeup bag!

My Thoughts

I started wearing eyeliner more this year, and this is a good eyeliner to use whether you're a newbie or more advanced user of eyeliner. I was sent Perfect (black) and Precarious (blue) and both work really well. They're easy to use when doing a winged eyeliner, and there isn't any smudging. Even those these eyeliners are matte, both eyeliners glide so smoothly across my lids. I've worn this eyeliner for most of the day without any fading. I'm glad that I received these items to add to my collection because the quality of these products are so good!

Bath and Body Works SAS: Summer 2016

Hello Everyone!

It's one of my favorite times of the year, the SAS Annual Sale at Bath and Body Works! I'm so proud of myself that I saved all my gift cards from my Birthday/Christmas just for this occasion lol. I'm really glad I held on to those gift cards because BABW had some good deals and my favorite candles on sale!

A few items I got for my mom :)

A better view

I've always wanted to get a duck, but by time I get to BABW they're usually sold out! I was in luck this time!

My current favorite scent! It smells so good!

Finally trying Georgia Peach and Pineapple Mango candles

It's not a SAS if I don't get my apple candles!

As you can see I started to burn my Watermelon Lemonade candle. The throw on this candle is pretty strong!

Some Winter candles

All the candles :)

See this is what happens when your mom wants to go back to look in Bath and Body Works lol. I really like this scent.

UPDATED...

I went back to get Endless Weekend Candles since the were finally on sale and few other items.

Shameless selfie from an early morning Mall run to Bath and Body Works lol

Here a few extra pictures that I posted on Instagram incase you missed them

Have you checked out the Bath and Body Works SAS yet?

Palmer's Eventone Suncare Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Sunscreen Sheer Spray SPF 30

Hello Everyone!

Here's my second post about Palmer's suncreen line. I'll link the first post I wrote yesterday night near the end of this post. I wanted to do these closely together since both products help provide protection from the sun's harmful rays.

DESCRIPTION

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Eventone Suncare contains active ingredients and natural moisturizers Cocoa Butter Shea Butter and Coconut Oil to protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun and help you maintain a youthful even skin tone. CocoaPlex™ Technology helps to prevent dark spots, uneven skin tone and premature aging.
Eventone Suncare Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Sunscreen Sheer Spray is a quick and convenient continuous spray that makes for easy application on the go.

PABA Free • Paraben Free • Phthalate Free

KEY INGREDIENTS

Cocoa Butter: a natural moisturizer that leaves skin soft and silky, transforming even the roughest, driest areas into buttery soft skin. Rich in Cocoa Mass Polyphenols which help to combat free radical damage- the main culprit of premature aging

Shea Butter: deeply moisturizers and soothes dry skin while acting as a moisture barrier to keep skin hydrated.

Coconut Oil: rich in lauric acid, as well as poly and mono saturated fats to hydrate deeply- giving skin a natural glow while helping to improve absorption and counteracting any white, pasty residue

My Thoughts

The first thing I noticed that this sunscreen smells like cocoa butter and sunscreen. The sunscreen scent is tolerable, it's strong, but not too overpowering. The sunscreen is sheer and absorbs well into my skin quickly. The claim is true, there isn't any white residue after I apply this sunscreen. I like how this sunscreen makes my skin feel really soft and it gives my skin a healthy Summery glow. I've received so many compliments on how glowy and radiant my skin looks. The sun tends to make my skin feel dry at times, but the I can tell how the shea butter in this sunscreen soothes my skin and keeps my skin hydrated. This is a definitely a must have for Summer!

I mentioned this in the beginning of the post that I reviewed these Suncreen products close together. Don't forget to check out Friday's Palmer's Suncreen Lotion Review Click on the link below

Palmer's Eventone Suncare Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30

Hello Everyone!

*Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post by Palmer's. I want to thank Palmer's for sending this product to review. All opinions are 100% my own.

It's almost Summer and with that being said, today I'm going to be sharing some information and my thoughts on this moisturizing sunscreen lotion from Palmer's. Even though you should protect your skin all during year against the sun's rays, this especially important during the hotter months.

DESCRIPTION

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Eventone Suncare contains active ingredients and natural moisturizers Cocoa Butter Shea Butter and Coconut Oil to protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun and help you maintain a youthful even skin tone. CocoaPlex Technology helps to prevent dark spots, uneven skin tone and premature aging.

Eventone Suncare Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion provides 80 minute water/sweat resistance and UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum protection while leaving skin with a natural, healthy glow without any white, pasty residue

Coconut Oil: rich in lauric acid, as well as poly and mono saturated fats to hydrate deeply- giving skin a natural glow while helping to improve absorption and counteracting any white, pasty residue

My Thoughts

The first thing I noticed that this sunscreen lotion feels thick, but applies very smoothly on my skin. I really like how this suncreen doesn't leave any white residue on my skin, it feels like I'm using a regular lotion, just with suncreen added. This sunscreen lotion smells more like cocoa butter than sunscreen and has SPF 30. My skin feels so hydradrated and soft throughout the day. Unless I'm being exposed to sun most of the day, I really don't have to reapply this suncreen lotion. I've tried other suncreen lotions, but this one has to be my favorite! If you're planning a day out in the sun I suggest you pick up this suncreen lotion! This lotion really came in handy this week with it being in the high 90's and even 100 degrees! So you can just imagine the heat index soared past 100°! It's safe to say it's been pretty scorching hot in South Carolina!

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin- Transforming Powder

Hello Everyone!

To wrap up Maybelline review week, today I'll be discussing my thoughts on the this new Maybelline's Superstay Better Skin Skin-Transforming Powder.

I tried to find some information to share about this product like I normally do, but there wasn't much that I could find. I looked on Maybelline's website as well and I didn't see any information. I'm assuming that they'll have some information about this powder in the future?!

Here is the information that was provided on the back of the package

- Our 1st Salicylic Acid that wears all day

- improve skins look reduces the appearance of imperfection pores and uneveness

- dermatologist tested for safety. Non-comedogenic

My Thoughts

I like that this is a Salicylic Acid powder since Salicylic Acid is supposed to help prevent acne. I don't have too many issues with acne, but I did noticed that my complexion looks more even toned. Sometimes I can get a small uneven dark blemish on the side of my cheek due to skin allergies and pms, but I noticed that is looks less noticeable. Now that I see this powder works to prevent that issue, I'll definitely be using it to help clear my skin when needed. I picked up Rich Tan (80) in this powder and it matches my skin tone very well. I forgot how many shades were available at Walmart, but I did see several different shades.

I that this powder will be good to use for the upcoming Summer since it's sheer and lightweight. I've only worn this powder twice, but it doesn't wear all day. I don't really have a problem with that since it's so hot, but if you're looking for a full coverage powder you may want to skip this one. Like I said I like it so far, and I'm content with the meduim coverage this powder provides. I found this powder at my local Walmart for $8.94.

Have you tried this new Skin Transforming Powder?
