Late Springtime Smokey Eye

Hello Everyone!

I've been wearing a pastel and neutral colors most for most of the Spring. Yesterday I switched things up by creating a smokey eye. Typically I wear smokey eye makeup during the Fall and Winter, but I will wear it occasionally during the Spring and Summer. 

I haven't used my Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette in a few months so I took it out to create this Late Springtime Smokey Eye.

I wore Victoria's Secret Velvet Liquid Lipstick in this red shade (I forgot the name). I like to wear smokey eye makeup paired with a red lip.

My love for Urban Decay Naked Palettes began when I received a few of the Naked Palettes for Birthday gifts in 2013. I love the quality of these shadows and the wear time. Fallout is minimal on most of these palettes and the shades are pigmented.

Everyday Neutral: Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette

Overall I love all these palettes. Naked 2 was my favorite for years, but honestly all these palettes are unique in there own way. It can be hard to choose which is my favorite with all these great choices!

- If you want to create daily looks, I would go
  Original Naked (if you have it since it's been 
  discontinued. I'm unsure if Naked Original is still 
  available), Naked Reloaded and Naked Heat.

- If you want to create sultry smokey eyes, date night,
  evening looks I would go with Naked 2 and Naked
  Smoky.

- If you want to create a romantic soft eye makeup
  look I would go with Naked 3

- If you're new to color and want to try something
  different or you're looking for a beautiful eye
  shadow Palette to use during the holidays i.e.
  Thanksgiving, Christmas, I would go with Naked
  Cherry.

Last Monday when I checked the mail, I had a surprise PR Sample from Urban Decay! If you didn't hear UD recently just released their Waterproof Perversion Mascara. My Thoughts 

I don't think that I've written a full review on the UD Perversion Mascara, but this mascara has made severalnappearances here on my blog throughout the years. This mascara is one of my all time favorites. It's not waterproof, but this mascara is gives me voluminous lashes and the formula doesn't look clump when applied to my lashes.

Now I want to review the two newer products from Urban Decay. Note: The Fine Point Eye Pen isn't exactly new, just the tip on the pen.

Urban Decay Perversion Waterproof Mascara

My Thoughts

No clumping or smudging! This mascara applies on my lashes flawlessly, and adds volume. The packaging is absolutely beautiful with the textured 3D raindrops on the mascara tube. This design for the packaging is very creative.

When you wear this mascara you don't have to worry about it coming off. The mascara stays in place all day. It's not difficult to remove this waterproof mascara, but you should use a good makeup remover in general to remove your makeup before you cleanse your face.

My Thoughts

If you're looking to create a fierce winged liner this product is a must! I received so many compliments on my winged liner

I've used many eyeliners throughout my makeup journey, but nothing like this one. Amazing job Urban Decay!!
