My Thoughts

This candle sure packs a punch, a strong punch. That's the best way I know how to describe the scent! I smell all the notes in this candle, vanilla, butter, sugar, and baked cookie. There's no artificial scent here. If you walked in my home, you would think I just took fresh baked cookies out of the oven. This candle is great for anytime of year, but it would be perfect for the holidays. I would've love to burn Butter Cookie during Christmas, but the USPS mail carrier didnt deliver it on the scheduled date.

I'm not a fan of this candle on a cold sniff because it's so strong. Candles can be so deceiving on a cold sniff and can smell different while burning. This is the case with Butter Cookie. On a cold sniff this candle gave me a slight headache, but once I started burning the candle, the throw started balancing with each of the fragrances. The throw is moderate to strong, and I could smell the scent all throughout the apartment. I love that there's no soot as this candle burned. I love candles, but soot concerns me because of the possiblr toxins. I was happy that this candle didn't leave any soot and I had this candle burning for about 3 1/2 hours, very impressive.  Overall I really like this candle and I can't wait to try more candles from Goose Creek Candle.

This "butter cookie" candle definitely would be good for the kitchen. I didn't realize that the scents on candles smell different while burning. I really like the color of the candle too, it's pretty.

I wish you peace and joy in the new year, Pilar, and looking forward to more of your wonderful posts.

The scent sounds absolutely divine, and I guess it would be wise for me to switch to smelling cookies from eating cookies, which is what I basically have done for the last three days straight.

OH I bet the butter cookie does smell good. I love those sweet smells but I have been trying to stay away from the bakery or food fragrances. Haha. I love Goose Creek Candles.

I've never heard of Goose Creek Candle, but the brand sounds promising! Butter Cookie sounds like a candle I would buy! Is this brand sold in stores or just online?

Scents can smell different once burning, not all candles, but some. I'm not a fan of this scent on a cold sniff, but once I burned Butter Cookie, I my apartment smelled like baked cookies!

Lol! I know what you mean! I ate chocolate chip cookies a few days in a row myself! This candle smells pretty good!

Lol! Bakery scents can smell good in a candle form. I like sweet scents, as long as the scent isn't too sweet. This candle is has a good balance of each scent note in the candle. I really like Goose Creek Candle so far!

The candle wasn't a disappointment. I just don't like the scent too much on a cold sniff. Once I start burning the candle it smells good!

Thanks Perla, and Happy New Year!
