Crocheting Project: Ribbed Hat and Horizontal Ribbed Scarf with fringe

Hello Everyone!

I've been in kind of a funk the last few days, so to try and take my mind of things I did the one thing that I love... crocheting.  Since the start of Fall is coming up this weekend, what better way to bring in a new season with a new scarf and hat set. I really hope the South has a cooler fall and winter this year lol.

I actually started the hat last weekend and worked throughout this week on both projects. I did both projects in a ribbed crochet pattern. I really enjoyed making these items since pink is my favorite color.

I'm thinking my next project will be an Afghan.  I really want to make either a Fall color themed Afghan or a Christmas themed Aghan or maybe even both. I love this upcoming time of year!

That is very pretty indeed! I'm trying to get my sister in law to make me a super chunky brown, black, or grey scarf... That would require a lot of yarn huh? Lol. xx

Thanks! I'm remember you were saying on your blog you were trying to get your sister in law to make you one, hopefully she will. As for using a lot of yarn, it depends on the length and width of the scarf. I think that the chucky yarns make some of the prettiest warm scarves :) I want to make a scarf using chunky yarn, but it doesn't always get too cold in the winter in the South lol
