Blogmas: Holiday Skincare Prep ft. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Products Part 2

Hello Everyone!

* DISCLAIMER: This post is a collaboration and sponsored by Palmer's.  I want to thank them for sending me these products. All opinions are 100% my own. ALSO: for some reason when I can't un-highlight the content from the white background on this post. I tried editing, but it wouldn't change. My apologies.

Today I'm back with part two of my holiday skincare prep for Blogmas. Today I will be focusing on Palmer's Products that help keep your face and lips looking healthy and hydrated throughout the holiday season and colder months. Once again, I know that I'm not doing the traditional Blogmas posts everyday, but I do have more Blogmas posts lined up.

You may notice that I've written reviews on some of these products in the past. I've provided information in the description from Palmer's Website and from the products.

1. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil Face

Description:

Gently deep cleanse skin with the power of Pure Cleansing Oils, Cocoa Butter and Vitamin C. Dissolves dirt, oil and make-up and rinses perfectly clean without stripping skin. Purifies complexion for clear, soft and brighter looking skin. Ideal for all skin types

Usage Tips: Apply morning and night to dry skin using damp hands. Massage gently into skin and emulsify with water. Rinses clean with no residue.

Since wearing makeup is something that I love, I'm very picky and cautious of the products that I help remove my makeup. As any makeup love knows wearing makeup during the holidays can occur quite often and you have to take care of your skin underneath. I've been using this oil for a few weeks now and I really like it. I started using more products with Rose Hip Oil last year and a benefit of using this product is the benefits of containing rose hip oil. The scent is a little strong and I smell more of the rose hip oil than I do cocoa butter. I consider this a less is more type of product. I noticed within the three weeks that I've been using this facial oil my face, the slight dark spot I get on my cheek sometimes, does look lighter. I like that this is a multi purpose facial oil since you can use it to remove makeup or to use as a part of your skincare routine. I mentioned that this is a less is more type of product because if you use too much oil then of course your face will feel oily. I have combination skin (normal to oil), but this face oil doesn't increase the oil on my face.

2. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick

Description:

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick provides on-the-spot help for marks and blemishes and is ideal for touch-up moisturizing on face and body. Also may be used to moisturize and soothe dry, cracked, chapped lips.

I've written a review on this swivel stick in the past, so I'm going to keep this short. This is one of the best Lip balms that I own. You can use this on your face and body for a moisturizer, but I prefer to use this strictly for my lips. Just like you should care for skin you should also care for your lips. This swivel stick is good to use alone under your lipstick or lip gloss to provide hydrated lips.

3. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula FlipBalm Creamy Coconut

Description:

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula FlipBalm Ultra Lip Moisture in Creamy Coconut delivers incredible, long-lasting moisture while refreshing your lips. Natural moisturizers, including pure Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Vitamin E and pure Coconut Oil glide on smooth to lock in 24 hours of moisture in one simple flip and click.

I was so excited when I saw this in my box that Palmer's sent me! I've seen these little file balms and I thought they looked so cute! This Lip balms is actually coconut, not cocoa butter and it smells VERY strong! For all my Coconut lovers out there this is a lip balm that may catch your interest. I have to admit this balm is a little overwhelming to me, but I still use it because Coconut oil also has healing properties and is good for your skin, well in this case your lips. This is a good lip balm to wear during cold weather and my lips stay hydrated. I don't wear this under any lipsticks or lip glosses, but if you want to prep your lips especially for Matte Lipstick I think this will do the trick.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your favorite Palmer's Products?

I need to try that cleansing oil! I've never used a cleansing oil before. I think I've used products with rose hip oil in them but I'm not sure. And this might be a dumb question, but does Rose hip oil smell like roses do? Lol! I'm obsessed with Rose scented things so I'm curious!

I didn't know that Palmer's made a Rose hip oil for your face! All the products sound wondeful!

Does the facial oil leave your face feeling greasy or a greasy residue after usage?

I think that you would like this Cleansing Oil Ashley! That's not a dumb question at all! The Rose Hip Oil does smell like roses. For me it's a little strong, but since you like rose scented products I think this would be great for you! I really like how this oil works as a cleanser and a makeup remover!

I've seen this oil around social media, so when I received it, I heard about it and even though scent is a little strong, the benefits it has on my skin is worth it!

Pilar said...

Not at all! No greasy feeling on my face and no greasy residue after usage. I hope this info helps!

I have normal to oily skin, so when face feels oily, I use less of the face oil, but my face still feels moisture and clean.
