My Life in December 2016

Hello Everyone!

I was a little unsure if I was going to post a lifestyle post for December 2016 since I did a few Blogmas posts keeping you all updated on all my holiday happenings., but I really like doing these types of posts! On another note, this my second post for today :) To see the first post, click on the link at the end of this post.

Happy December 1st

A few decorations that I had in my room. I switched it up since I needed those blue and silver bulbs for the tree lol

I've been eating seedless grapes lately. Delicious :)

I usually like to make homeade hot chocolate, but last month I found myself reaching for the instant kind.

The weather was crazy last month. On the days it wasn't extremely cold, it felt rather warm. However it was rather cold for December in  South Carolina. We usually don't get extremely cold weather until January and Early February.

Hot Chocolate on a cold night.

I haven't made homemade Spaghetti in two months, so I decided to make some for dinner.

Breakfast Casserole. Instead of making a cheeseburger pie, I made a breakfast casserole. A dish that good anytime of the day lol.

Getting more into the Birthday/Christmas Spirit

I want to thank the companies that sent me PR (Public Relations) Samples in December ! I can't wait to continue to collaborate with some current companies and new companies this year! Look for these reviews and Collabs in upcoming posts on my blog! Side Note: The Zest Citrus Body Wash smells so good!

I collaborated with Fab Fit Fun in December for their Winter 2016 Box. This seasons box includes a star pin To raise awareness for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Please see the link near the end of the post for more details.  Use code PILAR to receive $10.00 of off your first box. (This box is sold out, but you can check out their site to see others box that may be available)

December 21st. Happy First Day of Winter!

I finished my Afghan for the Sofa Chaise a few days before Christmas. I'll show the full Afghan in an upcoming Projects with Pilar post.

A few items I picked up with my birthday gift card from the Semi Annual Sale at Bath and Body Works.

A pink Double Half Crochet Hat that a made about 2 years ago.

The start of my birthday weekend.

My 31st Birthday/Christmas 2016

New Year's Eve

Food for New Year's Eve

I stayed in and celebrating New Year's Eve with my mama. I really don't drink that much except for an occasional glass of  wine, so I  had a bottle non alcohol apple cider.

Happy New Year 2017 Everyone!!

Ooooo, so many delicious foods on here. Don't ya just love the sparkling cider? Have you ever tried Swiss Miss hot chocolate? I think you'd like it. I love those purple bulbs in the glass jar, they're pretty. There's something about Purple that fascinates me. These are cute selfies, especially that one of you in the Pink hat. Wishing you a Happy New Year, Pilar!

Thank you! I don't drink coffee all that much, but I use this creamer when I do. This creamer tastes so good in hot chocolate as well!

Thank you, and Happy New Year! The cider was so good! I usually drink Swiss Miss when I make instant hot chocolate, but I switched to Nestlé since I drink the other brand so much lol. I do love Swiss Miss though! Purple is such a beautiful color! I used those purple bulbs to match the colors in my room!

Your holiday decor and Christmas tree were really pretty. The silver, white and blue color scheme your went with is a really nice and elegant change from the traditional red and green.

Thank you! I wanted something different than the traditional Christmas colors. I thought the blue and silver theme would look nice!
